Had the worst experience ever for a one time appointment. Receptionists were rude to me and almost me exclusively. I was told to leave my paperwork at the desk when I was done. I was concerned due to my personal information being exposed so I asked if I was to turn it in to a person or just leave it there. She replied to leave it there. However; upon leaving it there; my information was just left there and she continued to check other patients in with a warmly welcome that was not extended to me when I initially walked in.

I had to walk back up to desk and point to my paperwork. I answered the question she had a problem with to the best of my abilities and she's insisting I didn't properly fill it out. When she asked me verbally; it was the same exact answer that I had written. They gave a survey pamphlet to a woman that walked in after to me to rate their service. When I asked for one; I was told they don't have such forms.

And while most people followed the rules of only binging themselves in; there was a patient that was there with someone else. Today's my son's birthday. I didn't want to be here just as much as they didn't; I didn't show it. I was as polite to them as I expected them to be to me; being that they are at work.

Dr. Emile Wakim got me out of an extremely uncomfortable situation. Constant numbing in my last two digits and thumb muscle pain keeping me up all night. I had a carpal tunnel release and ulnar nerve transposition and I am so relieved by the results. The fat transfer to give added protection to my ulnar nerve was fantastic and I enjoy it day to day.

His surgery staff was very reassuring surgery day and were gawking about how good he was while I was coming out of anesthesia. His office staff is always considerate with my scheduling and record my notes word for word. Pacifica Orthopedic is true patient advocacy and standard of care.

Dr. Wakim was amazing with my 15 year old! She injured her ankle sliding into 3rd base for softball. He explained everything to her and coached her through her recovery process letting her know what to expect. I couldn't have asked for better service! Rachel at the front desk is amazing as well she fit us right in and was so kind and considerate.

I was referred by a very nice Nurse to Dr. Wakim, I was very Happy with his entire staff and his Professionalism; very nice office, and not only an Amazing Doctor, but Honestly a Great Kind Man.

This is a special office. I've been working with Dr. Emile Wakim who is just the coolest guy. A family man first. He was extremely patient with my concerns and gave nuanced answers to all of my quesquest. I have never felt more safe and comfortable with a doc. I should also mention that his staff are incredible, quick to respond and very accommodating - always on time and on point.

I would not recommend this practice. The office staff is negligent and incompetent. Dr. Wakim betrayed my trust and allowed me to recieve substandard aftercare for my total knee replacements. I cannot bend my knees without extreme pain, even a year after surgeries. And rather than try to correct the problem, he chose to drop my insurance and refuse to take my calls. I'm 45 years old and I will never regain full use of my legs due to his neglect.

The doctors, Dr. Emile Wakim and Dr. Ahern, are extremely skilled and two of the most compassionate physicians I've ever seen. My injury is very complex so I have been to numerous doctors. They are knowledgeable about the latest technology, treatments and techniques. Their "bedside manner" is a comfort and they take time with every patient. The office staff (front and back) are hard working and professional.

I especially appreciate Juana, who manages authorizations for the center. She keeps me informed of what's going on with my insurance and helps me when I have to get involved in the process.

It was easy and convenient to get an appointment. When I showed up for my appointment I was taken to a room right on time. Dr Emile Wakim took his time to answer questions, assess my condition and discuss many different treatment options. This is the kind of service every Dr. should give.

I was extremely disappointed with the quality of care Dr. Ahearn provided. He took 5 minutes figuring out how to work his own computer in order to view my MRI results from another doctor and then he Spent another five minutes reviewing the film with me while he proceeded to tell me there was absolutely nothing wrong with my back all while refusing to read the MRI reports I brought with me.

I have imaging from 2005, 2010 and I have imaging from 2018 and they all read the same and I am finally ready to get fixed. Dr. Ahearn was unable to pick up on the spinal problems I have while viewing an MRI. I'm not sure how an orthopedic surgeon can be so far off the mark when multiple other professionals have all given a much different opinion.

He also encouraged me to cheat on a range of motion exam. Four instance, he asked me to try to touch my chin to my shoulders so I turned my head to the right as far as I could until it hurt and it was stiff and I stopped. He told me to go further even though it hurt and then he also told me to bend my shoulder in towards my chin so that I can make contact.

He had me cheat on all of the range tests and I'm not sure why quite yet. My primary care physician, Dr. basil Aish, referred me to this doctor. My experience with both doctors now has been so bad I will never go back to either of them.

Extremely thorough, a very concise and articulate examination. Dr. Emile Wakim and his staff were all very professional, kind and courteous. A good experience all around. Thank You, Pacifica Orthopedics
