What is Plastic Surgery? Plastic Surgery is a specialty of medicine that is performed for patients who desire to enhance their appearance. The word plastic originates form the Greek word plastikos and means "molding" or "giving form". It does not refer to the synthetic materials that are occasionally used.
Dr. Elliott performed his training in general and plastic Surgery at Stanford University. He has been in practice since 1983. Plastic Surgery requires additional years of hospital-based surgical training. Dr. Elliott manages a wide variety of problems relating to the face and body. He practices a full scope of plastic surgery with expertise in cosmetic and reconstructive plastic surgery. It's something you've always wanted to do, but something else was always there to hold you back. Well, not anymore.
Our patients are the focus of our practice, so your satisfaction is our greatest honor, and we are humbled by your comments. Below are actual testimonial cards written by our patients. It is with great pride and honor I have had the opportunity to care for you. Your wellness and health have always been my priority.

My experience with Dr. Elliott has been overwhelmingly positive and I sincerely and enthusiastically recommend him to anyone who needs a caring and excellent plastic surgeon. Several months ago, my niece (a doctor) noticed a discoloration on my nose tip and she suggested I see a dermatologist. A few weeks later a biopsy was performed and the pathology report diagnosed melanoma in situ. Having been healthy my whole life, this was especially unsettling.
I was referred to Dr Eugene Elliott who subsequently excised the affected area and performed a skin graft. It has been six weeks since that surgical procedure and I'm happy to report that the healing process has been very successful with no discomfort and the appearance of the resulting scar is steadily improving. I'm very happy with the results, of course, but I feel especially fortunate to have found Dr Elliott. An experienced plastic surgeon and Stanford graduate, his competence, expertise, and interpersonal skills are remarkable.
He diligently and clearly explained the end-to-end process and answered all my questions before, during, and after the surgery. I found him to be an unusually caring and friendly professional. He and his wonderful staff (Jen and Kris) are kind, friendly, and they all have a great sense of humor - it felt almost like family. Hopefully, there won't be any new melanoma developments for me, but if there are, I know that Dr Elliott will be there for me.
