Dr. McWilliams grew up in Conroe and graduated from Conroe High School. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Baylor University and his medical degree from Midwestern University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Arizona. Dr. McWilliams completed his postgraduate training at the Family Medicine Residency Program and Lonestar Clinic in Conroe.
The Patient Portal is secure online access to your "chart" in our office. Whenever something is posted to your portal, like results, or a message, you will receive a simple email prompting you to go check your portal. No health information is relayed in this email. Use the patient portal specifically for the person/patient you have a question or request on.
At this 30 minute appointment we discuss screenings for common medical problems and certain types of cancer, your immunizations, and more. Call the office and schedule this Well Adult Exam, or Annual Exam. Often we do not have time to address these issues during your regular office visits, so let's put time aside specifically for these important topics.
Several years ago, Stone Creek Family Medicine implemented an annual fee to cover services not covered by insurance companies or our routine office visit fees. The Annual Fee is due at the beginning of the calendar year and is paid once per year. This is a non-refundable fee. We believe that our patients deserve the highest quality medical care and service levels.

This was my husbands assigned PCP and it has not been a good experience so far we have gotten complete run arounds and still haven't resolved his high blood pressure I went with him out of concern and Dr was so rude ti me wouldn't even let me explain he had already did a sleep study before and was hushed quickly guess running more test will give the clinic more money also was send to a cardiologist which test can't be run for 2 months just has been a huge run around so far.

I have really liked the doctors here, so I hate to do this, but something really needs to change with their staff. I called today for an appointment for a COVID test after a 100% exposure over the weekend. I need the test for work because we have a strict COVID policy in place. The member of the office staff that answered the phone asked if I had any symptoms, and I said no, not really.
I guess I should have said yes, because I have allergy symptoms which could arguably be COVID symptoms. I was told they would not test me because I don't have symptoms. They told me to go to CVS. CVS has no appointments available and are sold out of their take home test. I understand that they probably want to conserve test for people that they think really need it, but there is a dilemma for me because I need one for work. Also, I am an established patient with this office and they can just deny testing me when a few weeks ago we were testing everyone whenever?
I'm not sure if this was a directive from the doctor or office manager, but it seems odd to me. I'm undecided about continuing to use this doctor. Sadly, I don't think there are many great options here in Montgomery.

I have seen Jennifer everytime I have been here. She is an angel on earth. Kind loving patient and smart. I went there today feeling so bad tested positive for strep. She not only determined exactly what I needed, but she hugged me and made me feel better when I got upset. I am the youngest of 6 kids and my mom passed when I was 17. Everytime I get really sick I miss her the most.
I cried a little missing her and she came back in the room and hugged me and made me feel better. I know this is a lot of back story but I had to share. She is AMAZING. This practice struck gold when they found her. I cannot say enough kind things about her. The best bedside manner I have ever experienced. I trust her, and never want to see another doctor again.

Dont be discouraged by the membership fee, im cheap but its worth every penny to me to be able to trust doctors. There is never a need for a second opinion, they are exceptional when it comes to taking care of patients and their needs. Very refreshing to have a drs office that listens to worries and always solves health issues. The dr and Physician Assistant is so amazing and thoughtful, their education on mental health with adults and children is beyond exceptional.

Poor service via lack of follow up or follow through. I shouldn't have to call the office multiple times to get the staff to do their job. Long wait times, excuses, poor execution and subpar responsiveness is no way to run a medical practice. 1.) Wrong X-ray orders. I have to wait hours for your office to fix them. 2.) X-rays were not processed in a timely manner. spent days waiting. 3.) Having to call the office to get them to follow up three times. 4.) Poor patient portal experience. 5.).

I've been going to Stone Creek for over 3 years. I can't even begin to express the right words on the professional bedside manner, care, concern and most important, the time they take to listen. I've never been rushed in and out. I've recently moved 170 miles away and still make my Dr visits with Dr. Jennifer. She is thorough, warm and treats me like family.
I will continue to make the drive because the care I get is above and beyond. I just love her. The staff is amazing, Norma, Berta and Jamie I deal with frequently. Somehow they move mountains with insurance. Just love this place. If you are looking for family care doctors, Stone Creek Family Medicine is your medical home.

This office was pushed upon me as my PCP when I changed insurance companies and I couldn't have been more dissatisfied. First of all they say that the insurance doesn't pay them enough so on top of your copay you must pay a membership fee if you want to use them. After some research into this "membership" I found that they are charging the membership fee to cover all of their overhead.
This is the same overhead that every other doctors office has but does not insist on a membership to cover. Second, when I called to set an appointment they clearly said that they could get me in to look at a mild ear ache. Once I let them know that they were to be my PCP per the insurance company's corralling they immediately changed their tune and said that they couldn't see me until the next week.
When I expressed my concern that my mild earache was likely to become a serious one their response was that if It did I should go to the ER. Of course I asked if this obvious lack of patient concern was typical they said that if I didn't like it that they simply didn't care and I could take my business elsewhere. I have now filed a complaint with blue cross blue shield and recommended that they cancel their contract with these obvious scam artists. BTW I called Lake Conroe Medical clinic and they got me in that same day and were happy to do it.
Although they are not listed as a family practice on the BCBSTX website they are in network and they are much better suited to meet my family's medical needs. A happy high hard one to you Stone Creek. This is one story that I will tell time and time again.
