We have three Northern California offices in downtown San Francisco, Novato (Marin County), and downtown Sacramento. Our staff is headed by podiatric surgeon Dr. Vincent C. Marino, DPM, and we also recently welcomed Dr. Shannon Curran, DPM. Drs. Marino and Curran, and our entire staff, provide every patient with the highest level of medical care through a personal approach that involves the patient every step of the way. We help patients maintain good podiatric health by practicing proper preventive treatment and promoting healthy activity.

Toenail fungus (onychomycosis, tinea unguium) is a fungal infection of the nail and underlying nail bed. Fungus can be easily contracted from the environment such as public showers or swimming pools, moist feet, or humid environments. Risk factors may include aging, compromised immune system, diabetes or circulation disorders which may slow the growth of the nail and compromise the overall nail health.

This is one of the best offices to deal with. I woke to a very concerning issue and called the office. Kelly put me into one of their emergency spots they hold each day. What a concept. Thanks to her I was able to avoid going to the ER. And Dr. Curran was able to diagnosis my issue, get me on some meds and days later I am nearly 100%. I highly recommend these doctors for your foot or ankle issues.

Dr Marino is amazing. I slipped and fell off of a ladder hanging Christmas lights and broke my foot in 3 places. I needed surgery. The ER doctor called in Dr. Marino (on a weekend) and he had me in surgery the same night to fix the breaks. I just finished physical therapy after being in a cast for 6 weeks and I am please to say I am doing great and back at work full time. I highly recommend Dr. Marino!

Avoid. Find a different office. Kelly, the office manager, is horrible. The person answering the desk gave me incorrect information, telling me I needed to schedule an appointment right away or an orthotic warranty would expire. That was wrong. We rushed to the office for no reason and ended up having to pay a copay for nothing. Rather than admit their mistake, Kelly called and was rude, accusatory, and unprofessional.

I saw Dr. Parks a few months ago hoping to find a simple solution to my foot issues without surgery. After she went over my xrays with me, it was obvious I really need surgery to fix it. We are in the process of scheduling it, so more later. Dr. Park was very professional and easy to talk with. She had impressive knowledge, as we hope our doctors know what they are doing.
She looked into it further and called back. Unfortunately, I was traveling and responded very late, but the office was very friendly about it. So far I would recommend Dr, Park and the entire office.
