For patients who have insurance coverage and a valid insurance card, we will submit claims to the insurer requesting reimbursement for services rendered. Our office submits both electronic and paper claims. Patients will be responsible for any balance unpaid by their insurer. All HMO plans must have a Piedmont Family Practice physician registered as the PRIMARY CARE PHYSICIAN with the patient's insurance company. This ensures accurate coverage and payment. A direct line, (540) 341-1724, is for our insurance referral staff.

I have been a patient of Doctor David Evans for 17 years. His superior medical knowledge, combined with compassion and great communication skills make him Number ONE in my book. While no doctor had been able to diagnose my husband's illness over a 3 year period, Dr. Evans diagnosed him on the first visit. The Piedmont Family Practice facility is well managed and always CLEAN with all sanitary protocols respected. I consider it a privilege to have access to such great medical care! Thank you!

Had my first check-up since the Pandemic and wanted to thank everyone at Piedmont Family Practice for making it seamless and smooth. Got in right on time to see Nurse Practitioner Angelina Harman, FNP, they had all my information ready to review, and were able to get my follow-up questions handled quickly. To keep what could be a very lengthy review short, because there are honestly so many positive experiences I could share, I truly cannot remember a single time that I did not have a great experience at Piedmont Family Practice. I have been a patient for 17 years since I was 15 years old in 2005, seen every one of the providers, been seen and or treated for everything from a small cold to major infections and hospitalizations, even mental health issues and weight management!
I now have 2 children that are also seen here as well. I feel so welcomed entering the office by the receptionists every time and sometimes even get greeted by name! I really couldn't imagine having any other health care provider!

I value the professional and respectful staff and providers. Steve VonElten has been my families provider for 35 years and dread the day is no longer practicing. He is intelligent, keeps up to date on all areas of medicine, yet he has a wonderful bedside manner. The only negative I have experience is the phone. Hold times are too long. I would highly recommend Piedmont Family Practice.

I was a little discouraged by the hour long wait that I experienced while in one of the patient rooms. ( which is the reason for my 4 star rating) However, Dr. Arnstine has been my primary doctor for many years and she is totally worth the wait. As always, she was patient, kind, knowledgeable and gave great advice. I always feel like I get the best of care from her! Also, the front staff is very friendly!

I had not had a physical in years. It was thorough and professional. Staff was very considerate and helpful. Medical history was reviewed. I was given ample time for questions. I feel very good about having my health information with this practice and relying upon them to help me manage my health care.

Valarie has been my PCP for two years. She is always professional, thorough, and makes sure all of my questions are answered. She can also tell if I am feeling anxious and adjusts accordingly. The check in process has consistently been smooth and has not presented any sort of issue. I would recommend this practice to anyone whom I have regular contact with.
