I don't usually post bad reviews but my experience here so far has not been good. I called to schedule an appointment and the booking system was not working, fine no problem. They told me to call back. I did, apparently it was a nation wide issue. Ok, fine. I understand. They took my name and number and said they would call me back. The next day by 3 I called again after no call back.
My primary care physician was not available for 2 weeks. I'm not sure if this is normal or not but Spring break is in that window so maybe that was it. I made an app and hung up. After discussing with my husband that my situation could not wait two weeks. I called back to see if I could get in with someone else earlier. Apparently you can see any other Dr but the one you primarily see. Weird.
So I had to settle for a nurse practitioner a week out. Then they told me that I couldn't be scheduled because I had a 30$ balance (a co-pay) Ugh, ok fine. Here's a CC. So they sent me over to billing. I paid the bill. The billing person told me that the system won't allow an appointment to be scheduled unless all balances are clear. Um, I just made an appointment 5 minutes earlier and no one said a thing!
Don't get me wrong, I'm happy to pay my bill. Just don't jerk me around! Then she says there are a lot of new people. Ok, here's my problem. I work with new people all the time and guess what?! They are the most knowledgeable and competent employees in the company! Why?! Because they were just TRAINED! You need to pay your front desk billing people better and train them so they can do their job. Rant over.

My initial experience with this practice was positive, when all I needed was routine physical. I recently required some follow-up care and my frustration has escalated at each interaction. Several voicemails unreturned, scheduled appointments that were cancelled upon arrival. Excuses made by the front line registration staff. All incidents are blamed on scheduling not reading the medical file correctly to execute correct appt. at the correct time.
I have yet to talk to a nurse or provider to understand their delay of care. In the meantime, i have arrived at the office for scheduled visits, only to be turned away. I am in the healthcare industry myself providing direct patient care. This is not quality patient care.

Well, I haven't been to see a doctor in a while and decided to try this place as it was recommended by a friend. so I made an appointment and filled out all my new patient forms. Then, the MORNING OF THE APPOINTMENT, at 6 am, they call me saying they have to cancel the appointment! I was SO frustrated because I was going to be a new patient and then they cancel on me like that!
I was trying to be understanding as sometimes things do come up so I made another appointment. and guess what? They called me the morning of to cancel AGAIN! A second time (they actually called me three separate times which was also annoying)! And at that point I was done. If they did this to me as a NEW patient then that says a lot. Plus, I know that if it was me cancelling at the last minute I would have been billed for it. Anyways, I say all of that to say, they just seem so unprofessional and I would not recommend them to anyone.

Weird, but the office waiting room does NOT have a single arm chair. Elderly folks need an arm rest to stabilize and help lift them from a chair. Never see a Doctor, always a PA. The latest PA I saw was rude and short with me. She is from Russia so I am not sure if it was the language barrier. I have just found a replacement primary care and will not go to this practice again. Had been with them for over 20 years. They never recommend tests or check ups as needed per year.

I have been a patient at this practice for about 11 years and have seen several of the doctors and many of the nurse practitioners over that time. When I see the reviews on this site, it saddens me because they don't reflect my experience at all. I've had such excellent care and service from the medical professionals and the office staff over the years. They've always gotten me in quickly when any issues arose. Their response time to calls or portal messages is excellent. I highly recommend this practice.

This practice will double bill you for annual physicals if you bring up anything for even two minutes. Be aware. I have been talked down to like a child in this office and my last two visits seemed cold and rushed. I used to go here for my ADD with my parents and they stopped using this practice years ago for not being treated right. Well now I am stopping.

Hanna Park, FNP-C and her assistant were phenomenal! Great interpersonal skills. Explained everything in layman's terms. Very personable. They both get 5 stars. However, as you see from the below reviews the billing organization and manager are horrible! They charged a no show fee for being 31 minutes late. Fortunately I gave them a courtesy call to let them know I was late when they informed me I would have to reschedule and would be charged no show fee.
I explained I am late vs not showing up. There is a big difference between the two. For example, if someone is late for a date, it may be frustrating, if they stand you up it is a deal breaker! Huge difference between the two. Ms. Chapman was kind enough to threaten to turn me over to collections if I didn't pay it. I hadn't even received a bill when this occurred. The practice needs to train their office personnel on interacting with patients and abide by their own policies.

First time my daughter went there, she was 20. She had wondered if she symptoms of ADHD and was looking to get tested. She politely asked the doctor if there was any thing they could do to help her or someone to refer her to. The doctor gave her an ADHD packet and asked to her to fill it out. She did this and when the doctor came back to her review she straight up told her she didn't have it without even looking at one answer my daughter put on the packet.
Also my daughter has gone in for a certain condition of hers that they have told her about three different times and have yet to treat her. Also the tests they do on her never come back. She never gets a call on the results. Also have been billed twice on all occasions after already paying. Terrible place and have only sent my daughter her three times and can already tell they don't care about their patients.

I'm glad to have an opportunity to share my experience with Chattahoochee Family Physicians. We received absolutely the most caring and timely response from Leslie, a NP at the facility. I left a message at Dr. McGinn's nurse station and Leslie responded to my call promptly. Her attention to detail, communication skills, being in the present, and above all kindness and patience to listen and respond are all exemplary, and way above what one experiences in other places.
I most sincerely thank the doctors and staff at Chattahoochee Family Physicians group for the truly caring environment they are nurturing. Thank you all and wishing every one a safe and enjoyable holiday season.

It's been a while since I've been to the doctor so I was very surprised when I saw the Google reviews. I just left my annual physical and it was a good experience from beginning to end. From the check-in staff, to the technicians, to the nurse practitioner, to the lab, to the check-out staff, everyone was pleasant, professional, and attentive. The level of service and care today is as good as it's ever been. I wanted to add this review because I think they're getting a bad rap in their search results. I've never had a bad experience and that streak continues today.
