Services
In 2006, Harrison Memorial Hospital celebrated 100 years of caring for the counties we serve. Once a community hospital, we have expanded our facility, acquired cutting-edge technology and partnered with physician specialists leading in their field to deliver the highest quality healthcare closer to home.
Plant your roots. You've worked hard to get here. Now's the time to slow down and take in all life has to offer. Or, speed up and do all those activities you didn't have time for while working and raising a family. The Cottages at Flat Run are about making your new home and lifestyle everything you desire.
At HMH, our goal is to safely deliver a healthcare service that adheres to the highest standards of quality care and service. As part of this commitment, we fully support sharing information about our performance. We want to be transparent about how we perform to you, the consumer. HMH is proud of the quality of care and service we provide, and we hope this information can assist you in making an informed healthcare decision. We are not perfect in every measure of performance, but we are honest and accurate with all the information presented.
Each day, I'm reminded of what an honor it is to lead one of Kentucky's few remaining not-for profit, independent hospitals. Remaining independent is very intentional on our part. It keeps us focused on the one reason that we exist-to care for the people of Harrison and the surrounding counties we serve.

Went to ER with fever, aches and pain all over my body, ER Dr came in asked what I wanted him to do, I said get my fever down and make me feel better. He ordered covid, and flu test and a ua because I was concerned I might have bladder infection. Well covid and flu were negative, that was great, the ua was not a culture because it takes longer than 2 hrs to grow a bacteria, he did not listen to my lungs, no blood work whatsoever, and about 30 minutes before left I had to ask for 2 Tylenol, if I had some in my purse I would have taken mine.

I have always bragged on hmh even have the be higher choice of insurance just so I can choose my Dr and hospital but I think this new CEO is ruining this hospital and I am looking elsewhere even if I have to go to Georgetown or Lexington, worst experience I have ever had and I have been going there for over 30 years.

The front desk lady is always rude when we go i dont understand why she is a health care provider in any way when she so clearly isn't a people person she need to think about if she really wants to do this job people come on here because they don't feel good and having her being rude to the people we love when they dont feel good doesnt make the experance of the wait and trying to find out whats wrong any easier.

Very poor care. Took my 6 year old son in cause he had a fever. He has kidney issues as well. When we went in I tried to explain to them from the beginning what was going on. They kept cutting me off. Saying what's your point? Why are you here? I was like if you quit cutting me off I could tell you. They thought he was he mistaking his side for his ribs.

Cause he stomach and side were hurting. He showed them very clearly where the pain was. I tried to tell them what we had found out with his pcp. And they would not listen to him or me. They thought we was making it all up. What our pcp had told us and that he was hurting. While we were waiting they were out playing rolling around in the chairs, pushing each other back and forth.

Not working at all. There was more that happened as well. I was so mad and upset. We found out today that their poor care could have costed my son. If our pcp hadn't contacted us. They are furious as well. We will never ever go back there again.

Both my husband and I have visited Ms Bradley for medical care on several occasions. She is always thorough, knowledgeable and very helpful. I would highly recommend her.

I visited the walk in clinic at Harrison Memorial Hospital, summer of 2018. I remember offering my bank card to pay my bill. Now I have a sleazeball collection agency dragging my credit through the mud for a $533 visit, which is ridiculous.

HMH has an amazing ER Department as far as skills in triage and trauma. The bedside manner is left at their homes where their judgement and opinions should be. Yes, you're overworked, and get tired of the frequent fliers but remember every patient has a history, we don't all fit the same stereotype.

Refuses service to those with medical conditions preventing mask usage. In other words, if you have certain pre-existing conditions, they would prefer your cancer progress, and they will allow your immediate emergencies to result in death before they will treat you without a mask. Health and patient care is not something they care about or are educated regarding.

Review for the emergency room only: Waited for over two hours in the ER and left AMA. Ridiculous. There were was ONE patient there when I brought my daughter in, but for some reason the doctor waited over an hour to order tests (he waited until "after hours" when everyone else was gone). I feel like this was an effort to receive more money from insurance.

Never received the test results and the staff was quite rude when I complained. To be fair, the nurses began the assessment almost immediately after we arrived but the doctor seemed incompetent. If she had been emergent, she would've been even more so before she ever even received treatment.
