I can speak from so many experiences (DoD hospitals/doctors, civilian clinics, huge University facilities, etc.) about how hard being a woman seeking treatment can be. Especially if you struggle with chronic illness(es). However, upon becoming a patient at FPA, I have not one time in the 5 years I have come felt dismissed, ignored, or shut down by anyone I have been seen by.

My PCM, Ashley Sparks, is one of the most compassionate and caring medical professionals I have ever been seen by. She listened to my symptoms and past experiences, found solutions that were best for ME, and was able to diagnose and treat a chronic illness I had been living with for 25 years undiagnosed. My life has been changed for the better because of her. Leslie Maynard is also one of the most kind, caring, and wonderful medical professionals I have been seen by. Again, treating me like a whole person, listening to me, reassuring me and helping me feel normal and cared for.

Both Ashley and Leslie go above and beyond for their patients, advocating for them at all times, and going a step further to make them feel like an individual and not simply a patient in queue. I cannot recommend this group enough. The staff at every step of the process is wonderful. Scheduling is always so kind and accommodating. The check-in/out staff are friendly, sweet, and quick to get you scheduled next.

The physicians, PAs, NPs, and nurses are all incredible. If you have EVER had a poor experience with a doctor before, I strongly recommend you come here and meet with a provider at FPA. There is nowhere else I would go again for any medical treatment. They are the exemplar in every way and I am SO grateful!

They'll be too busy to see you. You'll be sick with strep, need to see a doc, and they'll say "We can see you in three weeks on June 3rd". Then, when you go to the walk-in clinic instead (because that's same-day), then you'll literally wait 4-hours even if you have a toddler with you. No water, nothing to keep a kid busy while you wait. just 4 hours in a lobby.

They never offer to re-schedule. They never give you any clues as to how much longer it will be. and YOU'RE THEIR ACTUAL PATIENT! I mean, I filled out all the paperwork, had my medical history transferred to them, established care, and THIS is what happens the very few times I've actually had to see them. Stop taking new patients if you can't serve the ones you have.

We saw Dr. Rollins for our 2 month old son for this appointment and she was amazing. First doctor we have seen at this location who took the time to listen to our concerns and was extremely knowledgeable and informative. I was considering changing practices due to the lack of communication and the fact my son saw a different pediatrician each time but I am now reassured and willing to stay. Happy we finally found a doctor for my son who I feel comfortable with.

A year ago I had a concussion. I went to the hospital and they said they wanted me to get a follow up appointment for my concussion. The doctor didn't even see that I had had a concussion at the E.R. And this visit was to follow up on my concussion. The doctor did not even know I had had a concussion and spent the entire visit getting very aangry about medication another doctor had me on.

We were about to spit at each other at the end. I left with her never even known I had had a serious concussion. I've been using your practice for 15 or more years and every time I went they would put m with the doctor available. I felt that I wanted a doctor who knew me and my medical History. I wanted to see one doctor all the time. The nurses and doctors were always making mistakes because they did not know me.

This is by no means a review on FPA, this review is on one of their doctors Dr. Hinkle. My family and I have been going to Family Practice and associates for years and years and years and normally we have a wonderful experience and the providers are very nice. However my mother went to go see Dr. Hinkle once and waited over 2 1/2 hours just to be seen by her.

A couple days ago I had developed some rash/or hives and wanted to get checked out the same day and the only thing that was available was with Dr. Hikl. Hoping that I did not have the same experience as my mother I went ahead and took the appointment, and I even got there 25 minutes ahead of my scheduled appointment time. It still was almost 2 hours later that I was still sitting in the doctors room waiting for Dr. Hinkle just to come in.

I left without even seeing the doctor because I had a prior engagement and the front desk receptionist was very nice and even said I am so so sorry that is absolutely inexcusable I have no idea why it would've taken that long. So I strongly recommend Dr. Rollins at FPA or any other providers, but I would absolutely 1000% stay away from Dr. Hinkle unless you want to spend an extra 2 1/2 hours at the doctors office.

I've been to FPA in Hamburg twice now and will be switching to another healthcare provider. Nurses have no bedside manners and act annoyed to see you. One of the nurse practioners was decent enough compared to the rest of the staff. I got my annual physical done here one time and they took my blood (I have had many blood works done at other labs and it's been relatively painless), but at FPA, two techs each blew a vein in my arm that was so painful I couldn't hardly move my arm for a few days after. I went once when I was sick and I felt like a nuisance.

Every time I come here the staff is exceptionally kind! They always seem informed and are very helpful with any questions that I have. The walk in clinic here runs smoother than most of the clinics I've seen around Lexington and it is always packed full of people. Truly can't say enough good things about this place.

I have been going here for years and for the most part they are good. Occasionally I have gotten a doctor who is dismissive and doesn't seem to want to be bothered to give quality care, but majority of the doctors here are good. I just saw a new doctor though and Dr. Reeser was awful. He began the visit by being extremely judgmental and carried a sarcastic attitude.

He made a sarcastic comment to me about my decisions which, admittedly, made me fire back at him. I told him I was not going to have that conversation with him. He then proceeded to overstep his bounds and force the conversation judging my decisions to which I told him that I was not interested in his opinion. I left the office having gotten nothing accomplished except for being so bothered by a so-called "professional" that 8 hours later I felt it necessary to leave this review. That will be a fun and expensive bill to get in the mail for no services being rendered. Hopefully others will choose a better doctor at this location and avoid Dr. Reeser.

Dr. Dubocq and the rest of the office personnel are truly awesome! My husband and I feel blessed to have been directed to this office after our move back to Kentucky four years ago. When we were quarantined in early 2020, our virtual phone calls and messages through the system were handled with as great a care as if we were in the office. Thank you! We are blessed to be in your care!

They canceled me in the midst of COVID because I had a bill from Feb, and refuse an appointment. I have never had anything like this happen with any medical provider it's unspeakable. Now I have to wait weeks elsewhere for a new patient appointment.
