Contact Lenses are a very common form of vision correction. Contacts sit directly on the cornea and focus light into your retina so you can see clearly. Contact lens materials have come a very long way in recent years allowing many different options for vision correction. There are various designs of contacts lenses including soft spherical, astigmatic, and multifocal and gas permeable spherical, bi-toric, and bifocal. Contact lenses come in various disposal methods including daily, bi-weekly, monthly, and planned replacement.
Cataract surgery involves a preoperative visit where your doctor will explain cataract surgery in detail and answer any questions you may have. At that visit, the eyes are measured to determine the best lens implants choice for you. There are eye drops which are prescribed for you to be taken before and after your contact surgery.
To schedule an appointment with us, please call 610-565-6780. We make every effort to accommodate your scheduling and special eye care needs. If you are unable to keep your appointment, kindly give 24 hours notice so that we may accommodate other patients with urgent eye care needs. If you have a special condition that requires treatment please let our knowledgeable staff know so they can direct you to the right doctor.

Dr. ANTONELLO is excellent and very thorough. The problem with this office is the front desk staff that answer the phone. They are often rude and condescending. You could get an appointment to get in the Pentagon easier. Additionally, they REFUSED to fax my glasses rx to the location where I was buying my glasses! The manager of the eyeglass store told me they do this all day and no ophthalmologist office has ever refused to fax the script!
The office staff at this practice is, in a word awful. I sometimes wonder if the doctors know how their patients are being treated when they call for an appointment or need an rx faxed.

I have been with this organization for a very long time. They overcharge for their contact lens services, so you are better off getting your contact lenses and fitting somewhere else. However, you can trust these ophthalmologists to give you a through eye exam. Staff is ever changing. Answering machine is always on when I call.
