I dealt with the Gastroenterology department and was blown away by how professional, kind, passionate, and understanding everyone was. It is refreshing to deal with those who love what they do. They kept in consistent communication with me before my appointment and made sure several times I understood everything. There was not a single person there who seemed anything less than excellent. What an outstanding facility and group of individuals. Well done.

Everyone is so friendly. Dr Slater takes time to actually talk with me about my concerns. He's very friendly and patient. He's knowledgeable and concerned about health. Donna is always on point. She's caring, a good listener and kind. She too is concerned about my health. Donna has taken extra steps to ensure we get what we need.

I was seen promptly at my appointment time. Everyone was friendly and professional The nurse who checked me in was kind and patient. My Practitioner was outstanding. She made eye contact. She spoke to me, not at me. She explained everything she said, so that she was sure I understood. Yet she wasn't at all condescending. She seemed genuinely concerned about my health and well-being.

I have seen Dr. Doug Slater for over 15 years now. He is prompt with getting you back to your room. He not only deals with the problem at hand but deals with you mentally and physically. He has a caring demeanor and even took time to pray with me when I was having a very stressful day. He remembers all of your children and asks how each one is doing. He is thorough and complete with his care. I would not go to any other doctor than him!

Dr Slater is a good Christian man and an excellent dr. He has took care of my Mom's health for many many yrs, too long for this 88 yr old to remember. He really cares about the welfare of all his patients and he has a wonderful nurse named Donna to make sure it all gets done right! I thank them both for looking out for my precious Mama!

I saw Amber Powell for the first time this week. I was truly impressed with the care she provided. She was very knowledgeable and sincere. I've been a patient with BWC for as long as I can remember and have always had a great Primary Dr. with them rarely seeing anyone other than my MD. Having many health conditions from infancy to the current it's very important to me to have great rapport between doctor and patient! It's important to me to have a doctor that listens to me about the concerns of my health because I know what I'm experiencing on a daily basis. A doctor that spends a length of time with me unlike others that have walked in and 10 or 15 minutes later they're out the door and I'm coming out like I haven't had a visit! Last but not least a doctor that is passionate about their profession! That doctor is Dr. Gerrie Shiver.
