I have nothing against the doctor but I'm really tired of their customer service system. Whenever I call or text I never get any reply if I don't follow up with multiple calls after. It's never been this frustrating for me to not be able to ask some simple questions because they are not accessible most of the time. One trick I found though, is never choose any number but 1 (appointment) if you hope to talk to someone and expect to be hung up anytime.
Ask as many questions as you can while you are there and definitely get the prescription otherwise they don't provide anything. Also one time I went there to get my glasses fixed and I was told to see the doctor first and adjusted my frame later and after I was done with the doctor there was no one available to adjust my frame for me and the only person working there said "you have to come another time to fix your frame". I drive 25 minutes one way to get there and they don't respect your time at all! Hire someone who cares and who is friendly too please.

The doctor and tech were great and friendly, BUT the problem lied within the staff at the front desk. They were unfriendly and one of them were very rude toward me. I didn't even got a greeting from them the moment I stepped in the office. One of the staff was rudely pointed at me and said "come here" to get me come to the desk to fill out forms.
Later on at work, I emailed them to ask questions. One of the front staff emailed me back using abbreviated words. As I read the email, I thought I'm reading a text message from a teenager. For me, it was very unprofessional of her. The only reason I give this place two stars is because of the doctor and the tech. Other than that, I've experienced better customer service from other practice.

I had my first visit with Dr Merckle at North Wake Eye Care after leaving a former practice I had been with for years. I can honestly say it was the most comprehensive eye exam I have ever had. He took time to fully explain his findings. It was a great experience and I'm so glad I made the change. From stepping in to stepping out the whole process was very easy thanks to a knowledgeable and caring staff.
