Holy Cross Hospital, a private Catholic, non-profit community hospital opened in 1955 to serve the sick and injured without regard to race, religion or nationality. Owned and sponsored by the Sisters of Mercy for decades, the hospital is now sponsored by Catholic Health Ministries. I had to go to the er in January and they told me I needed to see a specialist so with my insurance I have an hmo so I need to get a referral from a primary dr first so I made an apt with dr Michelle fiorillo. I made the apt in January and the apt wouldn't be u til Wednesday may 4th so unfortunately I had to wait 5 months for an apt to see the primary dr. THE DAY BEFORE THE APT (May 3rd) this office called me to inform me that the dr does not accept new patients on wednesdays so the only time she has available is the end of July. DO NOT GO TO THIS OFFICE!
They had the audacity to call me the day before my apt to tell me I can't come til the end of July? If this is the rule why on earth would you schedule an apt with me? This is a very serious health issue I'm having and I need this referral to see a specialist. How incredibly unprofessional. I'm reporting this to the FTC.
