Went in for my first visit today. I would like to start off by saying all of his staff were friendly and professional. Please don't let the negative reviews deter you from this practice. Insurance was discussed before my appointment. He has a huge selection of glasses and frames for sale. Zero wait time and clean office.

Service was not bad however staff and doctor are completely deceitful and just want your money. I called ahead of time to make sure they took my insurance and could make an appointment. The receptionist took my information and told me she would check and call me back. (No big deal right?) She called me back shortly after to let me know that they do take my insurance but it would take two weeks to be seen. (It's a panemic of course eye doctors are going to be backed up right?) Now comes the day of my appointment I show up fill out the forms and give her my ID as well as the filled out forms and my insurance card.
She tells me I am all set and they take me back right away. (That's great what good customer service I'm thinking) Upon completing my exam the dr proceeds to tell me that they can't take my insurance for the actual glasses and lenses that I would have to pay out of pocket and to maybe call my insurance to see if I can get a $30 credit. I explained that I never heard of such a thing and after questioning him he finally told me that I could get glasses through my insurance but would have to go somewhere else. now I'm confused you take my insurance but only for the exam?
Regardless i was told to head to the front to pay my deductible when I got up front the receptions asked me for $60. I have had vision insurance for years and never paid more then $10 for a routine eye exam but at the time I was quite baffled and am not confrontational so I paid the $60. (My insurance had changed since last visit maybe the pricing did too) After leaving I called another eye doctor about coming in to get glasses explaining my situation that I had just had an exam and had a prescription but they would not take the insurance to get the glasses.
The new receptionist took my info and right away said come on by we can help you. I arrived at the second eye doctors and when I explained the whole story she was quite baffled as well telling me my insurance deductible was only $10 and I should have never paid $60. Once I arrived home I called my insurance company to see what had happened. When I spoke to a representative I was told that the original eye doctor did not charge my eye insurance and charged my actual medical as if I went to see a specialist.
So now not only will this Dr. get more money from my insurance they got an extra $50 from me. Complete fraud in my opinion. I did not see a specialist I got a routine eye exam. Looking further into the business they are only open 3 days a week and now I know why they can afford that. Do not let these people take your money! It's bad enough how times are and to take advantage of someone is completely ruthless and despicable.

I would look else where for a eye exam I called a month ago with all my insurance info etc. I finally get my appt. this morning when I get there they tell me they don't take my insurance Blue-cross. Even though they are listed on BC website as a provider. Mind you I have called them on 3 occasions, gave them my all my insurance info and phone number.
This office is the most incompetent doctors office that I have ever dealt with, and if you speak with the office staff (Rosa) you better make sure she remembers to write down your phone number Unbelievable incompetence!

My husband waited a month for an appt and when arrived the office told him they don't take his insurance (even though it was on the website that they do and they said they did when appt was made) and that they didn't have contact information to call him?. Incompetence. Unprofessional customer service. Staff not paying attention. Let's see - do you know of any place where you make an appt. and talk to the staff 3 times and they don't save your contact information? Would give them ZERO stars if we could - South Florida medical at its best.

Highly recommend Dr. Easton and his entire team! The whole office is very professional and well run. Dr. Easton takes his time and answers all questions and concerns. You feel like a part of the family when you enter the office. Gloria is amazing as well and gives top notch customer service and personal touch in selecting frames.

I have just called about 10 different eye offices for pricing on eye exams for contacts. I was given an estimate of what the lowest to the highest expected price would be from all the offices except Easton eye care. The lady I spoke to over the phone told me there was no way to give me an estimate. I asked if, "this exam could possibly be $1000?" and she said, "yes, could be!".
I feel like she was implying, if you have to ask the price then you can't afford it. It just is not a very nice way to run a business. A person should be able to know a price of something before they buy it. At least a range of what the highest could be. If this price is true, $1000 for an eye exam is ridiculous Easton Eye Care! You are ripping people off! Even billionaires want to make sure they don't get ripped off.

I love Dr. Easton he gets five stars. I have been seeing him for years. He is caring and attentive. My only issue is hi wife who runs the office. She can be very rude and unfeeling to patients in multiple occasions. I had an overlap of insurance at the end of last year. I called and ask the staff to re-bill using a primary and secondary insurance for re-billing.
They were attentive. This morning when I called back as there was no secondary insurance billed, I happened to get her on the phone. Her exact words were you should just pay the Dr. and fight your own insurance we should not have to fight them we have alot of patients. I said Mam all I am asking you to do is re-bill the difference on my secondary insurance I spoke with the insurance company and they told me your office has to re-bill it.
It's sad because here you have a great doctor who is very caring and I don't understand how this can't filter through to the front office. I hope she re-bills it I don't feel confident after my conversation with her. It may affect my future using of this office if I have to deal with that attitude in the future.

I would like to let you know that Dr. Easton and his staff are great! They are very knowledgeable. I have been purchasing eye glasses from other optometrists to no avail. After spending a lot of money with those other optometrists, I still could not use my glasses at work. Currently, I am writing this review while at my computer (with the glasses purchased at Dr. Easton).
Thank you Dr. Easton for helping me see better! Thank you to his staff for assisting me on picking out the perfect pair of frames! Will be recommending future patients your way! Sincerely, Gladys Morales

Dr. Easton and his staff are great. I have full confidence in his expertise with my eye care. He took extra time to make some changes and suggestions with my contact prescription that my previous eye doctor did not take the time to do. I was also fitted for some new frames, and look forward to receiving them. They have a great selection of frames in stock. The office is warm, friendly and inviting. Thank you Dr. Easton and staff!
