At Eastside Dermatology, we offer a comprehensive menu of medical and surgical dermatology options, from annual skin exams and the treatment of common skin conditions, to skin cancer treatment and Mohs surgery. Dr. Alan Parks and his team have extensive experience in the procedures and treatments listed below, and they can help you with all of your skin care needs.
Moles are typically benign, but a mole that changes in appearance - bleeding, itching, becoming inflamed, growing asymmetrically, or developing a crust - can be an early indicator of skin cancer (melanoma). D: Diameter: Most abnormal moles are greater than the tip of a pencil eraser (about 6mm). However, this is not a hard and fast rule, so it is best to have your moles checked by a dermatologist.
Acne is one of the most common and most frustrating conditions faced by dermatology patients. Almost every single person has a pimple at some point in their lifetime. Acne can be as subtle as a pimple here and there, or it can be more severe. It is important to visit a dermatologist to figure out what is causing your specific acne and learn about the best way to control it.
Age spots are brown/grey in color and they show up after sunburn or years of sun exposure on your hands, face, neck, or chest. While the name of these spots make it seem like they are caused by age, that is not accurate. These spots are caused by sun damage to your skin. While there are multiple ways to treat these spots, going to a dermatologist for treatment will get you the quickest treatment options. At Eastside Dermatology, age spot removal is most commonly achieved through laser treatment or cryotherapy (freezing).

I am hesitant to write a negative reply, but for the sake of Ohioans' skin I must say how displeased I was. Not only was he not able to clear my foot warts (actually I had to point them out since the doctor could hardly see), their billing department contacted me 4 months after my visit to say they had trouble with my insurance card (during which period I had left my job).
Overall incompetent staff from top to bottom sad to say. Not to mention all the overtly sexist literature posted around the office for elective services preying on female insecurity born by evil men.

For anyone having Mohs surgery, one should be prepared to ask questions about reconstructive surgery that may be needed afterwards. My mother was an 82 yr old patient with basal cell on top of her nose with no expectation that she would need multiple reconstructive surgeries afterwards given how much of her nose was removed with Mohs by Dr. Bogucki. Reimbursement for Mohs by Medicare/private insurance is much more profitable for physicians than evaluating less aggressive options, especially given the age of patient/health status and future life expectancy with risks of plastic surgery/anesthesia.

Dr Bogucki, what can I say. The absolute best dermatologist. I've been a patient of his for a few years now for different conditions and he is amazing. His bedside manner is 100%. He's very personable, and just down to earth. I just had a procedure done yesterday to relieve some pain I was having and I feel a million percent better today. Thankful for Dr. B for making my procedure as painless as possible and getting me feeling better again! I definitely recommend him to anyone looking for a great dermatologist! He's not only at the Hilliard location but also out east on Taylor Station.

Today was the 4th time that I had an appointment and they called to cancel it and wanted me to come earlier that day because the doctor wanted to leave early. The doctor shouldn't do that to his patients, I made this appointment almost a month ago and switched my work schedule around and now I can't go at all. They called me six hours before my appointment was scheduled to cancel it on me. Very unprofessional, I would not recommend anyone going there because you could be canceled at any point.

Dr. Bogucki is a very passionate doctor with a great bedside manner. He's such a sweet man! He was very professional and reassuring and the lady who took me to my room was very friendly and easy to talk to. I agree with other posts that the front desk could be a little bit better, but still a good place to go overall. I'd recommend!

I was very pleased with the service at this office, from start to finish! Crystal who works at the front desk was very courteous, always had a smile and made me feel like I was the only patient in the room. I personally saw Chris Ney that day, and he was Excellent. He answered all my questions and I feel he took adequate time with me. Overall I was very pleased with my visit. I will be returning for future visits.

Dr. Chris Ney is a competent and professional doctor and the medical staff were courteous. One recommendation is that the front desk reception staff could improve their customer service skills. I felt like I was an inconvenience to them and often they would just give me forms without addressing me by name. Also be advised that the waiting area is a bit cramped and expect to wait 25 to 30 minutes past your appointment time in order to be seen. If you are on the west side, then this location is worth visiting, but you will have to decide if you want to keep going to this location.

I was seen at Eastside Dermatology in Hilliard in May. They asked for and received my $35 co-pay prior to being seen. I had a 10 minute procedure done. They sent me an explanation of benefits. It said THIS IS NOT A BILL that said I owed $247. I was going to contest the bill when I got it because this is about $200 more than prior visits to this same office.
We never received a bill and we forgot about it. 6 months later I got a call from a collection agency. I called the Hilliard office and could not get a live person. I left messages stating I never got a bill. We got a registered letter. I assumed it was going to be a bill but no it was a nasty letter from Dr. Bugucki saying t hey have been trying to get me to pay a bill since July and he would no longer see me as a patient.
The main billing office says they sent me 5 bills. I explained that my credit score is nearly 800 and I always pay my bills. As of this morning Dec 12 I can not get a live person in the billing office at the Hilliard location. I did speak to someone at the main billing office that said she would personally send me a copy of the bill. After not receiving it for 4 days I called and left a message for this particular person only to not get a call back. 6 days later we finally received our first bill for a visit from last May.
Our insurance changed so I do owe the money. I did not owe the $35 co-pay. I am trying to pay the bill by phone this morning and can't get anyone at the Hilliard office to answer the phone 30 minutes after they were suppose to open.
