Established in 1945, we are one of the oldest and most established orthopedic clinics in North Texas. Our patients are as diverse as the conditions we treat - from athletes to dancers to everyday folks who have suffered injuries through the course of living a full life. Arthritis or injury can also damage the shoulder joint preventing a person from lifting their arm.

In severe cases, the only treatment available is shoulder joint replacement surgery. Patients with bone-on-bone contact from damage or arthritic degeneration are typically good candidates for shoulder replacement surgery, where an artificial ball and socket implant is installed into the shoulder.

Pain is broken down into two categories: acute or chronic. If you fall down and hurt your knee or twist your knee, that is called "acute" knee pain. Chronic pain is something that occurs more gradually over time, often getting worse as weeks and months go by. Unlike acute pain which can be linked to a specific event or time - like when you fall or twist your knee - chronic pain is more like an ache that is not linked to any event. Your doctor will ask when and how your pain started to learn more about the potential cause of pain.
If you hear grinding in your knee as you flex and extend the leg, you may think you have a knee problem, but in some cases that grinding sound may be normal, especially if there is not associated pain or discomfort. Noises, when accompanied by pain, should always be taken seriously. You should have a knee specialist check them out to be sure you are not doing further damage to the knee joint. A loud "pop" for example that comes from an abrupt physical movement, during basketball or tennis, can signal a torn anterior cruciate ligament.

Had knee surgery March 10, 2022 by Stephen Beotherton, and had severe swelling of entire leg with bruising in entire back of leg since then. I presented to their office March March 14, 2022, the time and date they told me to come for post op. Dr looked at my leg and I told him about pain but he only gave me an order for physical therapy. No follow up was discussed.

They do not care, and now I have blood clots, 3.22.22,t hey are passing me to my primary as this is not " their protocol" so they'll operate on anyone but when something goes wrong they don't want to see you. Would give a zero star if possible.

I loved the time Dr Walker took to explain what was going on with my knees, and some steps I could take toward getting back on the road to recovery.

I have been treated very good here. The nurses that took me back was very friendly and professional. I've seen DR Brigati twice. He takes time to explain and make sure I understand issues and treatment options. My son in Law had surgery done by DR Walker and was treated very well with great outcome!

I wanted to say a huge"Thank You" to Dr. Brezina for such a successful back surgery. From day one he explained to me exactly what was going on & exactly what to expect through the whole process. He sat patiently and talked with me, answered every question, & gave me plain instructions on what to do in each phase, & still does on each follow up visit I continue to have.

I was the person who always said "I'd never have back surgery" I heard & believed all the Bad things about it. I can easily say today the stories are just that "stories". I am so glad I had it. It has been nothing like the horror stories you hear. Because of a Wonderful caring, intelligent surgeon, great hospital & staff & also the very caring staff at Texas Bone & Joint I am healed & feeling a million times better.

Don't be reluctant to take that step. Have a positive attitude going into it, be prepared, & expect Positive results. Thank you Dr. Brezina & staff for a job well done! Brenda D Bell

Everyone at the front desk is friendly and helpful, always ready to greet me with a smile -- and quite often, a really corny joke. As far as the care itself, Debbie and Tyler have both been very engaging and have shown a legitimate interest in helping me recover: by challenging me during each PT session; by referring me to other providers for supplementary care and treatment; and by regularly checking on how I feel compared to the prior session.

Since I've dealt with Tyler more than Debbie, I will especially since her praises; she's clearly in the right field, because you can tell she's driven to improve every patient's quality of life. Thank you!

So I was referred to the therapy section of this place for dry needling for my back injury. It's a procedure like acupuncture but the needle is inserted deeper into the muscle and they use electrical impulses to help with the pain and stiffness. I have a nerve issue and constant muscle spasms, all day, every day. I was hopeful as I had never heard of the procedure.

The therapist David is a nice guy. However, he is a dry needling practitioner, but he does not own his own "pulse" machine and apparently they do not have a "shop" machine either. So basically he had to borrow machine from another therapist. I was approved for 6 sessions. Twice he used the electrical pulse machine. Notes to my doc said I had significant improvement, and that simply wasn't the case.

I am still pretty much in constant muscle spasm. Still in pain. Plus, they were kind of shady on how they billed. They tried to charge me out of pocket for a dry needling session and then crossed that out and ever after marked me down as having physical therapy. No idea why. It was questionable. Now, David was nice. Staff was nice. But it didn't help me at all.

He was always over booked and so he added some stuff like an elyptical bike and some stretching so I had something to do while I waited for him to be available for the needling. The place is packed all the time. It was pretty much self initiated/ maintained therapy until he was free for what I had been referred there for.

I have spent 7 years trying to find a doctor that could help me. I have had several hand surgeries and one shoulder surgery. I will not go anywhere else. For once in 10 years I have no pain in my hands and in my shoulder. And for the person that gave them a bad review, I think your over exaggerating about your visit. You can't blame a doctor if the staff made a mistake, we are all human.

My wife and I have gone there and they have always took there time and answer any questions. I highly recommend, Doctor Lowe and Doctor Redidix and Doctor Milne. There's no guys better.

The doctors here are great, but the physical therapy has gone down the toilet big time. I went there for a shoulder impingement that happened from weight lifting, and I saw a young guy (don't remember the name), and he gave me the measurements and then did absolutely nothing for me. No return visit, no exercises to do - nothing. He told me to go back to the gym and use lower weights.

I went back to the gym, and then my shoulder was worse than ever. It seems like they want to spend the least amount of time possible with you. I now use Fort Worth Physical Therapy, and they are much better.

I have been very pleased with the care I have received at the Texas Health Bone & Joint Clinic. They keep to a timely schedule and the assistants and office personnel are nice. Dr. Dolce was my surgeon. So far my knee is slowly getting better after surgery for a torn meniscus on both sides of my knee. Now I am in physical therapy and have only been to the physical therapy office next door to Dolce for one appointment.

I was not happy at my first appointment with having to wait 45 minutes for my therapist. She apologized and so did the office manager. Hopefully, next time and future appointments will be more timely. Also, want to say that I was very impressed with the surgery center ( Baylor Surgicare) where I had my day surgery. Very professional, courteous, helpful, and easy to deal with, and timely care. I recommend it highly.

After the successful treatment on my knee, I was able to do physical therapy and rehabilitate my knee. I'm now back to 100%. I have started running again. Once again thank you Dr. Dolce and the Bone and Joint Clinic for helping me out.

I have had two major issues treated by THC Bone and Joint Clinic. In 2010 I had a comminuted calcaneal fracture that was treated non surgically by Dr. Meyers. with physical therapy and custom orthotics. In 2017 I had TKR performed by Dr. Brotherton and physical therapy afterwards. I cannot say enough good things about the physicians and the entire physical therapy staff. They are the most dedicated, caring professional staff that I have dealt with.

Dr. Reddix is great! He was so nice, layed back & down to earth. That made me feel very relaxed and comfortable! Has a bit of a sense of humor. I just felt like I could tell him anything! He got stuff done for me and helped me out! I felt like he actually cared! I WILL go back to him if I have any future issues! AND, I will recommend him to everyone I know!

Dr. Lowe has been incredible! I broke my wrist pretty badly during a mountain biking excursion and he's been helping me through the healing process ever since. He explains things thoroughly and is gentle and kind (which I needed because my wrist was very sensitive to any movement). I highly recommend Dr. Lowe and the THC Bone & Joint Clinic.
