Endocrinology Consultants of East Tennessee specializes in the treatment of various endocrine diseases and metabolic disorders, including diabetes. Our board certified physicians have been serving the East Tennessee region and surrounding counties since 1987. It is our desire to provide the best possible endocrine care available to our patients. To that end, we work in close consultation with your primary care physician to provide a comprehensive care plan that strives for the highest quality outcomes.
Services
We desire all of our patients to be engaged with their provider and healthcare team throughout the course of their treatment at ECET. This section is intended to provide a launchpad for obtaining accurate and clear information about your specific health condition as well as access to other resources that will enhance the delivery and quality of your care.
In order to become a patient of our practice, you must have an established relationship with a primary care provider. If your primary care provider suspects you have a condition which should be assessed by a licensed endocrinologist, then they will refer you to our practice using our patient referral process.
It also provides you with a map to the practice you will be visiting and helps you understand our policies. If you were referred to our practice, you should be receiving our welcome packet in the mail. However, we have also provided them below as a downloadable file (PDF) for your convenience. Once you have been established as a patient, we ask that you kindly update your information on an annual basis to ensure that we can accurately bill your insurance and accommodate any other specific requests.
Endocrinology Consultants accepts the following insurance carriers (see below). This list includes most major insurance companies, but some may not be listed. If you do not find your insurance company listed below in one of the categories, please call the phone number listed on the back of your insurance card or check with the insurance plan you are considering to verify that Endocrinology Consultants of East TN is listed as in-network. We are NOT participating with BCBS Network L, Bright Healthcare, Oscar, AM Better, or UHC Health Plans offered through the Marketplace/Exchange.

Fantastic experience! Dr. John Williams was extremely thorough, explained all the possibilities & procedures. Lab technician was friendly & efficient. Front desk was cheerful & check in went smoothly. When checking on payments due, Amy was super friendly & explained every detail of benefits! I couldn't have asked for a better experience at Endocrinology Consultants!

Dr. Love day and the other dr I saw were amazing! Very polite, made sure I understand everything, and ran a lot of test to find the problem and come up with treatment. I am very pleased with this office. My old endocrinologist I would have to wait 4-6 hours at times after driving an hour and a half to his office.

In dire need of new business managers! The process is broken as is today's healthcare. If you are not interested in patient care and are suffering burnout as a health care provider, find another career. Don't make patients in need of care suffer due to your shortcomings & unhappiness as providers. This includes all staff members.

If you're disabled or chronically struggle to manage your sugar levels for whatever reason, don't bother here. As of recently, they only treat "good diabetics", those with their A1C levels below 9, including patients that have been established with them for years. But wait! Before they force you out, you have the (mandatory) option to pay them for an extra appointment where they give you education.
If you've done that and it doesn't fix the problem, only then will they drop you as a patient! So seeing as how my challenges with my blood sugar aren't because I'm not educated enough on my condition, and I'm not paying for them to tell me that, I can't come back. Also, they promote body shaming to achieve weight loss at this office. Overall, these people aren't worth your time and money.

This practice including the lab, physicians and nursing staff have been the most responsive and professional group of people I have met in a long time. I have been a patient for over 5 years and cannot think of an unpleasant experience. No one really like to have to go to the doctor, but they make it as easy as they can.

I had an appointment with Dr Campbell at the Knoxville office. I was told that I would have to have my labs done at their office. I explained to them that my insurance would only pay for one certain lab. If my bloodwork goes anywhere else I have to pay for it. They refused to let my labs go to the lab where it doesn't cost me anything so I had to cancel my appointment. Evidently patient care is not as important as money.

I have been a patient of Dr Vora and Dr loveday for almost a year and I have always gotten very good care. I am very pleased with the care both Dr Vora and Dr loveday have given me. Dr lovedays nurse Lisa is very good too. I never read reviews from here which I'm glad I did today. I am grateful for the care I receive from Dr Vora and Dr loveday and Dr lovedays nurse Lisa.
Even the people I've encountered with in the lab has always been pleasant. It's hard to believe folks are complaining. Maybe it was with Dr's that have been replaced. I don't know I only know what my experience what my experience was.

I've been seeing Dr. Williams for 4 years now and am so thankful that God blessed me with such a good doctor! He's very kind and attentive and the only doctor to ever get my levels adjusted correctly and take all factors into consideration. His nurse is also very attentive and kind and with both of them I feel like I'm getting the best care possible!
You go in early to have labs done which is convenient and are able to leave until your appointment time. There is very little waiting time to be seen and they are fast without compromising care. You also have the option of using the patient portal to email the nurse if you have any questions regarding your care/medication which is my favorite thing about the office.
