It has been a year since Dr. Porter did my surgery. I had been wearing glasses since I was 5 years old and never remember a time where I did not need my glasses. As I got older I wore contacts more, but even then there are still times that I had to keep my glasses close. With 20/800 vision, my glasses had to always be near me. Dr. Porter was great and his staff was wonderful.

They were ready to answer any questions. Now I have 20/20, and for the first time I can truly enjoy not having to keep a pair of glasses close by. I am so glad that I had corrective surgery done.

I had a WONDERFUL EXPERIENCE! The staff was incredibly helpful, caring, patient and friendly. I was very skeptical of getting LASIK for years until I found the courage to do so here at Porter Ophthalmology, and THEY DID NOT LET ME DOWN :) It was such an amazing experience from the moment I walked in to get a consultation to the Post op. Everyone showed such great care, from the receptionist to the doctor himself.

Very professional and relaxed environment. The doctor is very knowledgeable, professional, and made the LASIK surgery process very easy for me, walking me through it and reassuring me throughout the procedure to keep me sane during the process. I was a complete nerve wreck prior to surgery but once we started, the whole team made me feel more calm by reassuring me through the procedure and giving me simple instructions I could follow without being overwhelmed.

I thank God I came to this place. I am so grateful to this wonderful team. Anyone who is indecisive about getting eye surgery, do not hesitate to come here, it will be worth your money, time, and vision. I am at 3rd day post op and thank God I feel good :)

10/10 - Dr. Porter and his team are superior in every aspect. I had the PRK done a year ago, and what really made me choose this clinic was in addition to great reviews, their altruism. A portion of each procedure goes towards helping the poor in Peru have their eyes fixed too. In regards to Porter Ophthalmology's follow-through and communication, they are very thorough.

They tell you what to expect each step of the way and set you up for success. Just had my last post-procedure appointment and everything looks great (pun intended) ~ the opinion of an RN.

I highly recommend Porter Ophthalmology! Everyone on the staff was great and put me at ease. Dr. Porter was very patient and personable. The procedure was about 15 total minutes once it started and I was able to see afterwards and walk myself out the door. It's been 2 days and outside of needing eye drops I'm feeling 100%. If you are looking for a great place to make the LASIK decision, this is it.

I just had LASIK done April 8th, 2022. I was going to wait to review once my vision got better, here I am and it's April 9th to say I love it! My results have been fantastic and miraculous after wearing glasses for 20+ years, I've never seen the world this great! Dr. Porter and his whole team are professional, wonderful, caring, patient, kind, and great at answering ALL questions.

Special thanks to Yesi, she was my main contact person from initial consultation all the way to my post op. I've been to plenty of eye doctors being active duty military but Dr. Porter and his staff make you feel like family not just a number. They are not kidding when they say you can drive yourself to your appointment the day after surgery, just have tissues nearby because you may cry because the results are life changing! I highly recommend Porter Ophthalmology!

Stop waiting and do your consult ASAP! Dr. Porter and his team were 5-stars through every step of the process. The procedure itself was made so simple by thorough prep beforehand and Dr. Porter walking you through everything you will experience while you're having the surgery. I'm still in awe that from walking in to the LASIK surgical room to being back in my car was 15 minutes and I could see well immediately! If I knew it was this easy, I'd have done it sooner.

Dr. Porter and his team are absolutely fantastic! I needed the PRK surgery because that was the safest for me. The team and Dr. Porter walked me through the procedure step by step. The procedure went by so fast and Dr. Porter explained everything I was going to feel/see (which you could not feel anyway). This team is so kind, and professional! Thank you to the entire team and Dr. Porter, you are the best!

Dr. Porter and his team are world class at what they do. They walked me through the whole process and my initial questions and concerns were quickly addressed. Thanks to them I was well informed and knew what to expect. I'm so thankful I chose this practice for my LASIK! I felt at ease through the procedure and knew I was in good hands. Now, after 20 years of wearing glasses/contacts, I can see better than 20/20 without them! I'm so thankful for their service. They are doing great things! Come and see!

Dr. Porter and his staff were absolutely fantastic at providing comprehensive care. Making this lasik procedure fit a busy life is not always the easiest, they let me do a virtual consult, they were great at communicating with me throughout the process, and even during the procedure itself Dr. Porter's excellent chair-side manner was reassuring and comforting. Could not say enough great things about this place, these people, and my overall experience.

Dr. Porter is amazing and I would highly recommend him if you are thinking of getting lassie surgery. I waited for years because I was so nervous about it, but the procedure was so easy, recovery was easy as well. Dr. Porter did such a great job explaining everything to me ahead of time, answering all of my questions and during the procedure he literally told me everything he was doing at each step.

This was so calming and helpful during a stressful event! It was all done in about 5 minutes total and my vision is perfect now. I have worn glasses/contacts for 30+ years and now don't need them at all.
