First let me state; Dr. Bogaert is superb and provides five-star care. The office staff dwells at the other end of the performance spectrum. The Wheatridge staff is reactive, condescending, empty of empathy, and conducts themselves in a manner not intended to help in anyway. In seeking to resolve a problem their office created, the two receptionists I spoke with became agitated and refused to entertain or address inquiries of any kind.
They focused exclusively on imparting their lack of responsibility in the matter. They did not listen to or validate my problem in any way. Superior, self-important, and pretentious are the key descriptors concerning their behavior. Ultimately, they blocked any communication with Dr. Bogaert. I subsequently spoke with their supervisor who blindly dismissed my comments.
These people do not conduct themselves as medical professionals but more like petulant children. If you can tolerate a high level of frustration, sprinkled with a self-important office staff that is arrogant, dismissive, and rude, then this is the place for you.

I was told that my dad needed to be placed urgently for dialysis, after battling to get him to go, we went. The ER was notified, but took 7 hours to get admitted. Then the doctors from here do not communicate with each other, other care providers or family. We have been told many conflicting things and quick franly I think that they could care less if someone dies.
They told my dad he would be discharged from the hospital on a certain day, despite not having a chair for dialysis available?! His doctor here was the only one he has trusted and now that trust is broken and I am not sure that any of us will be able to repair the damage.

Never made it in to see the recommended physician because of such terrible issues with scheduling. Upon discharge from the hospital, I was referred to follow up with the consulting physician (phone consult only with my doctor in hospital) at CO Kidney Care within two weeks. When I made the appointment in October, I was told that I was not on the list to see the doctor within two weeks so they scheduled me in Jan and that was fine.
I was called about a month later and they asked if they could reschedule me since the doctor I was scheduled with had a conflict. That was fine. They mailed paperwork prior to the appointment. On the paperwork it said I was seeing a completely different physician, not the one I was referred to and who was listed in my network, nor who I actually scheduled the appointment with.
The new doctor they scheduled me with was not listed as in network. So many many phone calls later (every call I made was sent to voice mail where you're told that they return calls within 48 hours. Never got through; always had to wait for them to call me back.) I was finally called back and found out that I was never scheduled with the consulting physician in the first place, and had been switched again to another physician.
I was reprimanded by the very rude scheduler because she said I was confusing. I'm sorry, I'm the patient.customer.just following orders from my discharge. She proceeded to explain that for the many offices they operate, there are only two schedulers which I'm not sure how or why this is my problem. I canceled the appointment and decided I do not want to go to a practice this disorganized and with very poor patient contact.

CKC has several offices around the Denver area. Dr. Bosworth was the doctor that I visited in the Wheatridge ofc. I loved Dr. Bosworth! He was kind, attentive and answered all of my questions. The office staff the exact opposite. I had recently had foot surgery and was using a knee scooter because I was non-weight baring. The lady that checked me in, was cold, made no eye contact, just started her search about what she needed etc.
There were 2 large, heavy chairs in front of her desk that I couldn't move but she couldn't have cared less. I ended up tossing my envelopes of records to her. The medical assistant was the same, no eye contact, actually stopped at the scale and said "I need your weight", I waited for her to look at me and said I can't stand on the scale.
Without saying anything, she turned and walked to a room. Neither lady introduced themselves, they did not care about me and seemed annoyed that I was there. I hate it when I feel comfortable with and get great care from a doctor but their staff is so poor that I really don't want to go back.
