Dr Coco had me in tears as I was leaving because he is telling me I am fine to work at my computer job, when my eye is in so much pain and twitching for seven days now. It felt like he thinks he can decide for you how you are feeling. My appointment was at 1:30pm, and the assistant told me after having my eyes dilated my vision would be blurry for 2-4 hours. Yet Dr Coco is telling me I can go back to work for the afternoon. My vision is so blurry right now. Very in-compassionate feeling. The assistant that works there is great.

DO NOT GO HERE! My eye appointment took over 2 hours to get through! There is also nothing online that tells you that this is a VERY Christian office. there is an entire wall dedicated to "missionary" work, crosses decorating the walls, and a Bible on every available surface. I continually listened to them misgender me as they entered my information, occasionally pulling their masks down to speak directly to me.
Do NOT go here if you are uncomfortable around Christian imagery/ the celebration of modern-day colonialism. They also were not able to "find" my insurance benefits and did not tell me until I walked in that I needed my step father's ssn and birthday in order to use my insurance. which is not exactly readily available information. I ended up waiting an extra HOUR for my appointment.
There was another person here that was also unable to use their insurance. There was someone who had to leave their appointment because they had been waiting for the doctor so long that they were late for work. And there was an older woman who they claimed they tried to call to cancel her appointment. She ended up leaving as well. It doesn't seem like the workers know what they're doing.

Absolutely poor patient care! I scheduled 2 months out for a new consultation only to get a call a week before my exam to be told I have to cancel my appointment. No attempt to re-schedule me to a reasonable date or on another provider. I would have to wait another month. I work in healthcare and this is not how to deel with this. I made sacrifices and changed my work schedule, moving my patients I see, to an earlier date, so I could attend this visit in the middle of the day. I understand things come up and schedule change but don't make me wait another month.

I chose this eye care center because it was close to my house and has good reviews. I am so disappointed. I had an annual eye exam and a contact lens fitting. I had to come back for the contact lens fitting because my brand had to be ordered, and waited an hour and a half without seeing the doctor or being given an estimate of when I would. I had to reschedule and on the third visit, I had to wait over half an hour to see the doctor. Also, I have vision insurance and they still mistakenly sent me a bill for$275 and when I called about it they said it was a mistake. That's an expensive mistake! Horrible customer service.

The staff was friendly and efficient. Dr. Burcham was very kind. He took a lot of time examining my husband's eyes, asking a lot of questions, and determining the best treatment plan for him. Even though it was a very busy day for him, he did not rush. He took the time to explain everything and to make sure my husband's questions were answered and that he was comfortable with the treatment plan. We are both thankful that we got into him!

They are very good and Know what they are doing. I take my eyesight very seriously and i love how they answer all my questions and explain everything they need to do to get me the best results. I really LOVE THEM. They have been so polite to me ever time I have a visit with then, 4 years and counting. I won't go any where else.

I did register a quiet strong complaint about the appointment scheduling. I have been a client for many years of this practice. Otherwise this was a surprisingly pleasant experience. Better than previous annual visits. Dr Burcrham actually acted like he knew me and was warm whereas in the past he acted rather cold. I know this person does a lot of charitable work overseas in the vision Arena to help. So i believe he is a good physician. But this was my experience yesterday 9-24-20.

I've been going to see Dr. Burcham for several years now and I would highly recommend him and his staff if you need any kind of eye care. My mother also went to him for many years. This is a relatively small practice, which is one of the many things I love about them. Dr Takara is so personable and cheerful yet professional. She's explains things in a way anyone can understand. They also have the most up-to-date equipment; highly quality professional grade. My visits there are fast and thorough and the girls up front take good care of me. And I can't forget the very knowledgeable tech, Bob!
