Call
We'll start our seasonal Flu Shots Clinics at the end of October. Please call after October first to schedule. If we get the vaccine in earlier we'll update this message. When we currently have this available in our office we'll update the website and our phone message. We are now making appointments through November 2009. Olympia Pediatrics is a primary care practice for babies, kids and teens.

The following information is provided to assist you in determining how sick your child is and when to call a doctor. Though our physicians trust and agree with the information below, their information and advice should always take precedence over the following guidelines.
We are a group of seven Board-Certified Pediatricians and two Board-Certified Nurse Practitioners committed to providing excellent comprehensive pediatric care to babies, children and young people to age 21. We care for your children from the day of their birth until the day they graduate into the adult world.
Please be aware you will not be able to access your child's records or message your provider until you register on our new portal. At this time, we are registering patients who are already scheduled for an appointment. Siblings may or may not receive an email at the same time. As you can imagine - we have a lot of families to register.
Please plan to arrive at our office approximately 20 minutes prior to your appointment time as parking is limited, and finding a space on a busy afternoon can be time consuming. Take I-5 South to exit #109 (Martin Way) Turn right on Martin Way then turn right on Lilly Road and take a left on to 12th Ave NE.

The staff here have been absolutely amazing! My husband and I are new parents and they have gone above and beyond to make sure our daughter is well taken care of. She has needed some phototherapy for Jaundice and we've been working out feeding schedules. I've received phone calls just to see how my daughter was doing and the lactation consultant has been nothing but helpful and encouraging as we navigate through this new stage of life.

This is a review for the the patient care coordinator that answers the phone. to however the manager is, I think you need to re train your staff on ethics and phone manners. I work in a medical setting and I know how stressful it is, but your HUC is another level. 1st tone is very condescending. 2nd she is not willing to listen. 3rd very dismissive.

I doubled the coverage of my insurance. one is a premium one. the other is tricare. I pay and work hard on a CCU to get premium insurance. this is the 1st time ive heard that they won't accept my insurance. which is odd? 2nd once she heard tricare she stopped listening and would argue dismissing all your concerns. well im glad i didn't go through your clinic because i dont want the sassy attitude behind the desk when your kids are sick. I hope it dosen't reflect your practice

I used to love bringing my daughter here, the staff and Dr's were very friendly and knowledgeable. But my 4 year old daughter was just refused to be seen because she wouldn't put a mask on(I had my mask on). Last year when things were much worse in the pandemic they were very understanding of the fact that she is a child and wouldn't keep her mask on.

This year when everything else is mostly back to normal they would not let her in the building to be seen or to use the bathroom at least because she had to pee when we got there. I am very disappointed with Olympia pediatrics and now I have to find my daughter a new pediatrician.

This review is not for the office itself, as I didn't get that far, but for the interaction I had trying to get an appointment. We just moved to Washington from out of state. I called this office number. The automated message said that new patients should push #2. I got the voicemail for the new patient coordinator. The voicemail said to leave a message and my insurance information.

I left a message with my name including my insurance which is United Healthcare. Hours later someone called me back, and left a message in a dismissive voice said that they don't take Medicaid, and to have a good day. Uhhh. I've never been on Medicaid in my life. We have a private insurance plan, but she didn't even ask for clarification on that; just automatically assumed I had Medicaid.

Now if I had been able to speak to someone such as a receptionist right away when I initially called, this could have been cleared up immediately. This is not the way to gain potential patients. And maybe they just don't care to. I found another office that cheerfully answered on the first ring.

I feel like the practice does not an any way respect parents choices and is not wholistic with their care. Trying to vaccinate and medicate only. Not thinking of the child's best interest at all this visit. Despite telling the provider numerous times that I don't think my son has adhd the practitioner still sort fit to send me home with diagnostic tools for me and his teacher. I'll be looking for a new provider for my kids who is not so pharma inclined and more wholistic.

Changed my mind on taking my kid to this office. I call and it tells you to select 2 for new patient, I did that and left vm multiple times and no one got back to me. A week later left multiple vm and no one got back to me. I was like let me get a hold of office manager so I talked to the office manager and she said they pulled up her call log and shows that she called me. No ma'am try again I have nothing on my end and no vm. Mmmm kind of fishy. Taking our services some where else. THANKS!

Let me first say that our pediatrician is great! But when I need to call about a problem I'm having with my child the nurse never picks up and we are playing phone tag. Sometimes when I message my pediatrician she doesn't get back to us till a day after or not at all. It's frustrating when we have a real issue.

My son's provider is amazing.the nurse for my son's provider is equally fantastic. The office staff though, not so great. I'm so tired of being spoken down to, interrupted, ignored by the staff. We have had a long standing arrangement due to our divorce decree and the divided shares of copay for 5 years. So, because I HAVE to give my son's father a bill and have to give my son's father the chance to pay it himself, they refuse to let my son see his provider unless I pay the copay in full, and then I might get that back.

We have never shorted them. We always pay our bill. This new staff they have in there brings the experience from a 5 star to a 2 star and thats because I still love my son's doctor. I've had difficulties getting into their old patient portal and their new one. So I can't even use that as a communication tool for my son's provider. I recommend Dr. Sipher as she is AMAZING. I do NOT recommend Olympia Pedeatrics.

So Long story and review, sorry ahead of time but it is worth it. I had my daughter last October. She was an emergency C section and was a miracle baby (Someone was watching out for her because if the stars hadn't aligned just right she wouldn't have made it). For the 1st 2 months of her life we were with a different doctor/ agency, who would ignore my concerns and say its normal for babies to do that for things that after being around lots of babies and nieces and nephews I knew, did not in fact do that. FINALLY, my sister talked me into talking with Olympia Pediatrics and going to see one of their amazing ARNP's, Katie Petrin.

I have never been more grateful for their care. After my first visit, not only were the things addressed I had concerns about but referrals were sent out so I could see specialist and get my little girl taken care of. To top it off, Katie sat down at the end of the visit and said, "Mama, do YOU have any other concerns you need me to address or look at?" I'M SORRY, WHAT!

After not being heard for 2 months somewhere else, I almost fell over and started crying with relief. I was being asked what concerns me and walked thru every step of my daughters care. I am continually asked by not just Katie but her clinical assistant Kim if I have any questions or need any support. For someone that is battling to get my daughters needs addressed it is the best feeling ever to know that there is someone in my corner and someone listening to me!

She will even call specialist for me if I am not getting answers right away! So, do I recommend Olympia Pediatrics? Their care team, doctors, nurses, receptionist, and the whole organization? 100 times yes!

Since day one this office has provided top notch care to our child. Every staff member, operating staff and providers, has been kind, caring, and professional. We love our provider and her nurse beyond measure and feel very lucky to have them in Olympia.
