Dr. T kind and professional. Extremely nice clean office. Truthful and knowledgeable doctor. Best for my kids.

AS A PERSON who works in THE front desk I was in shock the whole time I was there. The one receptionist that greeted me had one nasty attitude just because I forgot my Son's ID she made a noise and rolled her eyes my son said she was rude the whole time was very submissive even with other patients the doctor made my son feel very uncomfortable didn't ask for permission never again.

Will not be coming here again I came because I saw very good reviews and thought they were nice but I was very wrong. will not be coming here at all when I left the receptionist didn't say anything at all to me Goodnight or night its called manners. Very unprofessional receptionists.

I have been bringing my children to Dr. Rivkin since they were born. My oldest is ten years old now. So it has been 10 years. She always gives us the best advice and calms my concerns. I would recommend her always. God bless her.

We've been looking for a good pediatrician for our kids for a while now since we moved back from Jersey. Our pediatrician in Jersey was just amazing and we've tried 3 pediatricians since then in Queens and haven't been fully satisfied until we recently switched to Dr. T. He didn't seem like he was in a rush and he sat down and spoke to us with his undivided attention.

You can tell he is very knowledgeable and great at what he does. We've had one appt so far and were very satisfied. I feel confident that my kids are in good hands. I look forward to our future visits.

My son is Dr. Takhalov's patient for 3 years. Dr. Takhalov is very knowledgeable and experienced pediatrician. He is attentive to his patients, and their parent's concerns. The front desk staff is working very hard. Sometimes they get so busy, so they cannot patiently service a customer, and this is a little turn off. Nonetheless - I am a fan!

Went for an annual physical. That was fine. But then doctor also billed us for a second office visit and multiple services not covered by our insurance and that did not actually take place.

The girls in the front are rude & don't want to be bother when you call them. Had a problem with the doctor office because they said they are not taking my son insurance but insurance company send me letter saying his docotr will be still taking him till Dec 30,2020. The girl with the stank attitude didn't want to give me billing office # All she kept saying dr said we can't ( BS). My son just came from the ER as well. Only reason i haven't changed docotrs cause his primary dr was my substitute at the old office. You can't find good docotrs these days

I'm a first time mother and had an on call appointment with Dr. T to ask him a couple questions before scheduling my baby's first appointment. He was very cold and made it seem as if I was bothering him with my questions. I definitely felt as if he didn't have the patience to deal with a nervous first time mother and that's just not the right attitude for a pediatrician.

So happy we chose to come to Dr. T office for our four children, always feel that we deal with high knowledgeable doctors. very nice environment, friendly, warm, and clean. would recommend to all. great chose ever.

Dr T and his team is awesome. I feel blessed that we came to know about Dr T for my kids. They are very quick, no long time waiting. They take care of their patients very well. I truly recommend Dr T, he and his team is the best!

Terrible service. They tried to give our kid's chart to someone else and didn't apologize. Never helpful and always rushed. We feel like a nuisance every time we go.

As soon as I became pregnant with my second child I knew that I had one less worry in terms of her pediatric needs. Dr. Takhalov is the best out there. I was first recommended to him by friends and we decided to travel to forest hills to check him out from LIC area. I have never looked back. I am by all accounts a difficult to please customer but when your child is sick or in pain all you want is someone to care about that child as much as you do. Dr. T is that kind of physician.

He knows his patients and remembers them he speaks calmly and assuredly and handles the patient--your precious child--with the utmost care and compassion and dexterity. Dr T educated my husband and I and coached us during a difficult time when my son was diagnosed with acute asthma. He helped us through this period and returned my calls promptly even at odd times at night when we just panicked as my son was stomach breathing at around 1 am at barely 18 months old.

He was patient and firm and I can never repay him for imparting calm on me when I felt helpless. As soon as I had my daughter I was happy to hand her over to Dr. T for his expert assessment of a diagnosis of heart murmur. He again patiently explained everything in detail and outlined a plan of care. I never feel rushed or ignored. All our questions are valid and he takes his time to address parents concerns. He truly goes above and beyond. Dr. T has been our pediatrician for over four years now and I am thrilled with his practice.

Horrible staff! Very rude if I can give a zero star I would! No customer service what's so ever. Waited for one hour ended up leaving because there was still a very long wait not worth it

We met Dr. T at the hospital when our daughter was born. He was nice and caring so we decided to use him as our pediatrician. Their office is nice and clean and they have a parking lot as well. Nothing but great experiences so far with him, the nurses, and the staff.

Doesn't matter the time of the day you call or the time of the year you call, there is extremely long wait time, like 20 minutes. Very poorly managed office. Called once to make an appointment, and on my way there a couple of weeks later called, and was told they didn't put my name down.

I had a terrible experience with Dr. Rivkin at Dr. T's that I feel I need to share. I brought my daughter in for the mandatory lead test. After waiting for 1.5 hours, Dr. Rivkin came into the room, only to tell me (with such attitude) that she would ONLY do the blood work if my daughter (she's 2, and as you can imagine doesn't like shots/blood work) complied.

I was shocked at how she was speaking to me about my child. She managed to prick my daughters finger and get the blood needed, but my daughter was inconsolable. Because of this Dr. Rivkin was unable to get a bandaid on her, blood was everywhere. Rivkin gave up, threw some bandaids on the examining table, and told me to clean up the mess of blood, as my daughter was still crying hysterically. I'm honestly devastated, I would never expect this from a Dr., my daughter has been going to her since birth. We will never step foot in that office again.

Great place to bring your child. The facility is top notch. The staff is very friendly. And the doctors are amazing. I have met Dr. Beer and Dr. T so far and they're great with my daughter. I have tried a lot of other pediatricians but none can match these doctors. Thank you all for keeping my daughter healthy.

Dr T is being my son Drs many years now, and is always great and positive experience, my son is very nervous and the nurses and Dr are nice and try to be very kind with him. New office, always clean. front desk excellent and always happy to help.

Best pediatrician in Queens! So caring and trust worthy. If your concerned with the wait time- Wait time has improved drastically. He does take his time with his patients. I drive from Long Island to queens to see him. I definitely recommend him. He takes care of all 5 of my children. Office is clean. Helpful staff

Wait times are horrendous. Every single visit resulted in at least a 40 minute wait past our scheduled time. Dr. T is overbooked and always rushing through appointments. Our son had eczema at early age and was later diagnosed with a peanut allergy. The doctor made no recommendation to introduce nuts at an early age which is now known as an effective method for reducing the risk of the allergy. His incompetence may have imposed my son a lifetime of epi pens and avoidance of nuts.

My daughter was a patient of his until she was about two. We called for an emergency visit and got an appointment fairly quick. But dr t had changed the office to the new location. We felt extremely rushed in this visit, it took no longer than 5 mins There was no sincerity or genuine concern in his bedside manner. We felt as if our daughter was just another time slot in his day. Perhaps it was an off day for him but it really struck a nerve. This was for the best since we found a great pediatrician elsewhere.

While they may be good physicians, I found the Dr. to be condescending in tone and unable to offer me personalized, realistic advice. When asked to refer me to a pediatric infectious disease / travel medicine for a long trip I will be taking with my 2 year old, I was told to go to JFK airport clinic or visit the CDC website. Thanks, but no thanks. I will find a new Dr. who genuinely cares enough to formulate a meaningful response.

Came here with my newborn because it was right across the street from my apartment. Stayed for about 4 months after repediately telling myself maybe next time will be better. It never got better. Dr T always made me feel stupid for asking questions about my premature newborn by giving me weird faces and telling me to chill out basically. He was rude to me and made me feel uncomfortable. Office is so tiny i dont know how they manage more than 2 patients at once and Half of the staff ladies at the front desk are very rude.

Excellent, Dr. t take his time and listens. Always available, yes his office is small and not toys. And that is perfect for me I don't want my son to play with toys, where others are sick. Because then we will have bacteria or virus. Great place, Great doctor!

Dr Takhalov has been my daughters Dr. since birth. He is attentive. He cares. His receptionists are polite. The office is always clean. Always quick and easy appointment making. Dr. T is the best!
