EVERYONE SHOULD GO GET AN EYE EXAM. dr. choi actually saved my life. went for a routine eye exam. dr. choi spotted an irregularity she diagnosed as a small piece of plaque. urged me to see a cardiologist. turns out i had 3 tumors, on my heart valve. rare heart disease, pfe, usually found post mortem as it's a-systematic and causes severe stroke or heart attack. THANK YOU DR. CHOI.

I'm so happy with this place. I went yesterday for a routine exam, met with Dr. Choi. She's so patient, answering all questions with no rush. She educated me very well and I found the way she encouraged me to read that next line to be cute. I went back today to get a prescription and had the same experience. Very nice techs, too.

Dr. Adel Batri is unattentive, unprofessional in his approach and extremely condescending. I came to him more than a month ago with an issue regarding a stye/ chalizon on my lower Right eyelid that I've had for 4-5 months now. This man had the nerve to scold me for using a topical ointment on it that was prescribed to me previously, only to turn around and prescribe me the same exact medication.

I went to visit today hoping he'd be of some help and he touched my eyelid with his bare hands, took credit for a "50% reduction in size" (the stye still looks the same) and gave me the run around on additional treatment options. He was extremely patronizing and even warned me not to be so "hasty" with treatment if its got anything to do with a "girlfriend." After pleading with him to give me some sort of medication, he agreed to inject me with kenalog, left the room and came back a few minutes later saying his kenalog's been expired since January and therefore I'd have to wait another two weeks to come back for said treatment. If you're looking for a serious opthalmologist Dr. Batri is not it.

Fromer Eye Center of Bayside sent me a text reminding me of a December 17th 9 am appointment that I made with Leslie Shapiro, MD before he retired and that they had me scheduled to see Dr. Arora, MD. I decided to keep the appointment since all my medical records were there from his practice When I arrived they told me that I was to see an optometrist.

I told them that was unacceptable since I made the appointment with an ophthalmologist and was never informed of the change even though they called me on my way to tell me that I should come in at 9:30 am. I walked out as I wasted enough time. I was sold as a patient from a highly regarded and caring ophthalmologist practice to one that did the "old bait and switch" even though they apparently bought my medical records.

A review of my medial records would have shown that my eye condition was being carefully monitored by an ophthalmologist for possible referral to a cornea specialist I now need an ophthalmologist.

This is my new favorite Opthamolgolist, I called for an emergency and they were able to scheduled me an appointment within 1 hour. Staff is incredibly friendly and they are really healpful. Place ia very clean and has a lot of chairs in the waiting area. However they saw me at my time without any delays. In contrast with a past experience with another Opthamolgolist near by, this was great The doctor explained everything very well, provide me with some medicine as a sample, told me the possible complications and the outcome of my condition. I think all doctors office should be like them

EXCELLENT PRACTICE! Just had my first appointment with Dr Jay Arora and he was absolutely wonderful. I have been a patient of this office for many years and loved Dr Shapiro who took care of all members of my family for decades, and when he recently retired we were all sad to see him go and a bit nervous about the future of the practice but not anymore.

The Fromer standard of care is 100% top notch and the "new" doctor, Dr Arora, is nothing short of excellent. A seasoned professional that is caring, concerned, and with a great personality, we could not be happier to continue our care with this first class operation. P.S. The staff is also outstanding, friendly and extremely nice. Top ratings to Yolanda & Melania especially!

Dr. Arora and the entire staff were very efficient, friendly and professional. I was very pleased with the practice and their service. My previous doctor retired and I was apprehensive about making this appointment but I will be back next year. Highly recommended.

New patient to this office. Saw Dr Jay Arora MD he was extremely helpful in explaining the procedures and his findings. Super nice and friendly which is a rare find among doctors. Gabriel the medical tech also very informative and made me feel at ease, asked great questions about my eye history, my concerns. I feel so comfortable and I feel like I can trust them with the health of my eyes. PS they also gave a me a few samples as well!

The Bayside office is run smoothly and the front desk is always welcoming and efficient. This is the only location I will go to and will NEVER step foot in the Forest Hills location again. Dr. Arora and Dr. Sidaris are amazing and thorough and I would not trust anyone else!

From the receptionists to the assisting technicians (shout out to (Carlos), the staff was extremely friendly. Dr. Arora was informative, professional and funny. The team made my experience enjoyable. I would recommend this practice if you need an ophthalmologist!
