Everyone is Nice to greet and Say Hi. Once checked in. Doctors weekly visits can last for 2 plus hours or more in the work week. Parents who work have to take the day off to visit children's hospital. There is no speed to market here. I don't expect a quick visit. However, there is No value in time.

I cannot stress how terrible this hospital is and I hope it gets shut down. If your kid gets intake someone has to be at the hospital 24/7 with them because they don't even have the staff to watch your child. Single mom? Quit your job sick? Come in anyways. They will physically call you in. Get more incentives to work here this is not safe and it's an easy way to run a parents mental state straight into the ground. Have been unable to make any of my doctors appointment or even go to the bank or much less sleep because of the tiny benches how pathetic

This hospital is AMAZING! We have been here for 3 days going on 4 with our daughter. The team of doctors they have on staff are incredible! The nurses have catered to our every need! The things they have to offer the children to make their stay more pleasant is just amazing. From movies, books, toys, activities, a courtyard where they can feel safe and get some sunshine, all the food and snacks you can imagine.
I have not one complaint! The nurses have gone out of their way to make us feel comfortable and at ease with every form of treatment they have given her. We are so blessed to have a hospital like this nearby. If you ever get the chance to donate to this hospital.please do! It's a great thing that they have going here and our hats are off to all of the staff that works so tirelessly and selflessly to make sure our children are getting the absolute best care! Thank you ETCH for everything you have done for us!

Took 6 hours to get 3 stitches for my son. No excuse for that. Zero sense of urgency. Nurses are rude and care more about mask violations than kids with open wounds or broken ribs or other ailments. It a shame they spent so much money renovating the ER and not improving the service and response time for children. Utter garbage and they know they can bend us over the barrel because they are the only show in town. Avoid this place if possible. Not worth the hassle if an urgent care or after hours can do it for you.

Took son to children's clinic on Emory where we were referred to the hospital. Took him in with papers stating he was severely dehydrated and need fluid asap, waited 4 hours and everyone that came in after us went back before us. I asked the nurse about our wait time she said there was 6 people in front of us and all new people in the lobby after 4 HOURS?
I told them we were going to take him to a different hospital and they wrote down that he had worsening condition even though they had never seen him. Me and my wife did more for him in the waiting room than the hospital did after 4 hours of being there. I asked for a blanket for my son and they said "give them a few minutes" 2 hours later ER still no blanket. Nurse was extremely stuck up and rude. DO NOT TAKE YOUR CHILDREN THERE. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL AND CARE MORE ABOUT People WEARING A MASK RATHER THAN HELPING CHILDREN.

Waiting room had blankets laying around under chairs. Bathroom was absolutely horrible an in the 7 hrs we waited in ER they cleans bathroom one time. They kept saying we were next but then called 3 others ahead of us. People who came in after us left before us. There were lots of kids sick as well as my child.7 hrs as of now an still waiting. Unfortunately there is no where else to go or we definitely would.

Currently waiting in the ER for over an hour with a complaint of chest pain. Literally had 4 patients come in after him that have already been called back. The lady at the checkin desk is beyond rude and all they can talk about is being understaffed. All this while we sit here and listen to one nurse ordering and Alvin Kamara Jersey online and the other asking how to sync her watch to her phone. Did I mention I was here with my child complaining of CHEST PAIN. Wonder if I called 911 if they'd see my child or take him to a hospital that is currently treating patients today?

My son was seen in the ER tonight, 12/22/21. We were scared because he had bit his tongue and it wouldn't stop bleeding. They were able to get us right in. The girl at the registration desk was very kind while checking us in. The tech was quick to check on him and was very calm and listened well. The nurse, I think his name was Ryan, was very calm when checking out my sons wound.
He was gentle with him and make sure when we talked about possible sutures that my son didn't hear and get scared. After we got into our room, the nurse that took care of us was so kind and had a smile. I didn't catch her name but it made me happy to know that the double daisy awarded nurse was taking care of my boy. The PA was so careful to make sure the bleeding was actually stopping and told us what to expect.
She brought my son a popsicle which he absolutely loved. I can't say enough about our visit tonight. In the hour and a half we were there, my son was greatly cared for. Thank you to everyone that we saw tonight.
