While much of Dr. Kunkel's practice focuses on cosmetic surgery, he believes that even the patient with the most challenging reconstructive problem should have the highest possible cosmetic result. The effects that the environment, genetics, and lifestyle have on a person's appearance are more visible on the face than any other area. Facial shape changes over time. Eyebrows descend. Eyelids may develop fullness and loose skin. Sometimes a nose does not develop the way a person likes. Maybe it becomes droopy at the tip or changes shape after an injury.
Gravity, sun exposure, and the stresses of daily life take a toll on our faces and necks. Compare photographs of yourself from 10 or 15 years ago to photographs of today and you'll notice many differences. Deeper and more noticeable creases, jowls, the face looks a little more square than oval. And what happened to the neck?!
Patients that Dr. Kunkel sees for eyelid surgery are often concerned that they look tired or sad. Their eyes look puffy. Fatty tissue may protrude in the lower eyelids, making it look like they have been crying or have allergies. Extra skin of the upper eyelids makes the eyelids heavy. It may be hard to put on make-up.

I was beyond pleased with the complete process of Dr. Kunkel and his entire staff. He did a fleur de lis 360 tummy tuck with an abdominal lift on me and was able to remove 13lbs of excess skin. His staff is the most courteous and helpful before, during, and after procedures. I am looking forward to seeing him again for a few more procedures. Hands down a 10 out of 10.

Dr. Kunkel performed my breast augmentation 10 years ago. It has been by far the best thing I've ever done for myself. I have referred several friends through the years and all have been so pleased! To say I trust Dr. Kunkel and all of the staff implicitly is an understatement. Zero problems, 100% happiness. Everyone cares, are very knowledgeable, very supportive.
