My appointment was scheduled about 18 days ago and can't make my appointment cause of work so I had my husband call and now they took 1375.00 from me and said I'm not getting it back cause I'm supposed to cancel 21 days in advance.

I recommend Dr Desman often. The office experience is very pleasant. Dr Desman is straight with you about what works and is worth it. Ive been with him ten years and not choosing another plastic or cosmetic provider unless he retires. I think Im older so I hope Ive got him for the long haul.

Today I went in for my first ever Radiant Facial. It was absolutely amazing. The first impression walking into the office I was greeted by Gina. She was so kind, personable and very professional. Then it was my time to see the Aesthetician, Sonia. She was very knowledgeable, kind, understanding and made sure I was getting the correct treatment for my melasma.

After the wonderful facial I received I was ready to buy the products. My end result was absolutely amazing and the name for the facial goes perfect for how my face feels. Absolutely Radiant! Thank you to the staff at VCPS. I will be back at the end of summer for more treatments.

I have been thinking about an abdominoplasty for some time, and thought that with COVID and working from home, this might be the best time to move forward with the procedure if I was ever going to get it done. I contacted the Virginia Center for Plastic Surgery (I just did a Google search) and had a virtual consultation. Olga, Dr. Desman's patient care coordinator, is friendly, helpful and addresses any anxiety you might have about your procedure.

I didn't meet Dr. Desman in-person until my pre-op appointment (two weeks before surgery). I can only describe him as a gentle teddy bear who takes particular interest in understanding your problem areas and addressing your questions. I never felt that he was rushed or impatient. I was also worried that the quote would change after Dr. Desman saw me in person, but I was very pleased this was not the case -- which gave me confidence that he could accurately assess what I needed and there were no "hidden" costs.

By the way, when I first got my quote, Dr. Desman recommended lipo on my flanks/waist in addition to the tummy tuck. At first, I was thinking I would not need this or wasn't sure I wanted to pay for it. But DO IT! The results are significantly improved when you do both! Post-op recovery has been very smooth and Dr. Desman has seen me for each of my post-ap appointments to make sure there are no concerns and that I'm healing properly.

His entire office, including Gina, his office administrator are extremely friendly. I am disheartened to read that other people had completely different experiences from me, because I highly recommend Dr. Desman if you are considering a procedure.

Look elsewhere. I simply wouldn't recommend Dr. Desman because he lacks experience in facial fillers and had my nose looking really off and crazy for over 6 months. They did not even follow up with me. It has a very overinflated, condescending feel to the office. Olga talks too much about herself. You get a sense that while you are here that the reason you are there is minimized to them.

You would be risking your money and appearance temporarily or permanently and it is not worth it. Luckily for me the filler has dissolved seemingly completely but I feel used and abused. You have no idea what he'll claim to know just to get a hold of 1k or more of your money. I know cosmetic procedures aren't guaranteed but this doctor has no integrity. Find another surgeon.

Most unethical and abusive staff and doctor. Lies, deceit and just plain fraudulent claims of results after getting you to sign them off for any complaint. The low-life thuggery starts with olga and goes down the sewer as bulying and payment fraud gets under way. Another issue ma y have been that they pick the most likely victim for their malpractice so that nothing really gets reported-- and that was me.

All the glorious reviews here are not quite real and neither are the physicians ethics -- they deserve to be stripped of from practicing any kind of medicine or just move to barbados

Please don't waste your money to come here for dermal filler or Botox. I spend over $1300. The results were ZERO. the effect from "his" Botox and filler were completely gone after one week. I went back and he said there is nothing he can do and I need to use Retinol for those fine lines. Please don't bother to come here and do your research.

I did my own lip injections ( I know, horrible decision. don't judge lol) and I was freaking out. I thought I was going to look like this forever. I had a lot of pain and looked like I had silicone instead of filling. Absolutely hideous. I called the usual place I go to. they were charging me hundreds of dollars to fix the problem claiming they didn't have the right product to dissolve it and had to order it first.

Others had appointments available in a month. Others charged consultation fees before booking an actual appointment. They made it seem like this was a complicated and impossible fix. Long story short, as soon as I called the office they asked for pictures and more info. They were extremely responsive and gave me an immediate appointment even though they were already booked for the day.

The fact that the lady I spoked to empathized with me and did her best to make sure I was taken care of, tells a lot about this clinic. She was very reassuring which calmed my nerves And anxiety while waiting for the appointment. The doctor was honest, reassuring, and efficient during his procedure and he only took 10 min. I was scared about going into work or having my family see me like this but I had immediate results.

Although my lips aren't back to it's normal shape (it's only been 8 hours), pain has decreased significantly, bruising has gotten better, swelling has significantly decreased also, I can smile again, and it no longer looks unnatural. I saw a HUGE difference within the hour. I feel so alleviated. They also scheduled a free consultation in a couple of weeks for a follow up to make sure my lips heal properly.

I'm switching the doctor I had been going to for 4+years. When I called the facility I've gone to for a couple of years now, they didn't have 10 minutes for me and were way overpriced for this process. Thank you Dr. Desman and team. I will be a new loyal client and bring all my girlies to you.

Horribly unprofessional patient coordinator. Post-op care was dismal, zero follow-up. Dr. Desman and the receptionist are nice but the patient coordinator's unprofessional demeanor and outright lies made the experience very unpleasant and stressful, made worse by the fact that Dr. Desman knew and not once acknowledged or offered an apology for the impact of her behavior during the sensitive recovery period.

Dr. Desman performed gynecomastia surgery on me and the results are already incredible one month out from the operation. The pre and post operative procedures were clearly stated, so I was confident going into surgery. Also, his team in the office of Olga and Gina are the best. They are very helpful and very kind.

I first visited VCPS Dr Desmond and his staff in 2012 for a breast augmentation. During my consultation, Dr. Desmond was extremely professional, honest and kind. He offered me three recommended sizes based on my build and size goals. He was upfront and honest when I voiced concerns about the potential of going too large. He stated "his only complaint from patients is that they wish they had gone larger".

My surgery was a breeze and recovery was extremely short and effortless. I loved my results! As a matter of fact, I received numerous compliments on how natural they looked. Well, fast forward 8 years and guess what? I scheduled my appointment for a consultation to speak to him about the possibility of replacing my existing implants with a larger size.

During our consultation, after listening to my desires, he stated that he could perform the surgery however there were some things he needed me to understand. He explained to me that if I were to go bigger I most likely will experience some sagging as I got older (currently 44) and that he was extremely satisfied with how the existing implants looked today.

He informed me that if we were to go in and replace I potentially would be back within the next few years to replace and possibly need a lift. I was extremely please with his honesty and candor with my request as opposed to just trying to make the sale. He gave me all the information I needed to make an informed decision. He is a true medical professional and very skilled at what he does. If you choose Dr Desmond you will be in good hands!

My breasts were a size 38H. I had upper back stiffness and pain all the time. According to my husband, Dr. Desman is a genius. I have small, comfortable breasts. My surgery was easy, recovery was one week. My scarring is better than my 15 year old thyroid scar. The scar ointment and care instructions were great. The office is always responsive and helpful. Thank you Dr. Desman!

Dr. Desman performed breast augmentation and liposuction for me last month. From start to finish, I have been satisfied with my experience. At one of my first appointments, Amanda said she would "hold my hand through the entire experience" and she truly has. She has been available for all my questions and concerns. Dr. Desman has a really nice bedside manner which calmed me as this was my first surgery and a relatively big life choice for me. I would recommend Dr. Desman and his team to anyone who asked me!

I have been going back and forth about breast reduction surgery for years. I have suffered from back and neck pain for SO long but the thought of surgery always scared me. I tried every bra and even lost weight, but the pain and discomfort never went away. When I finally decided to have the surgery, I did my research for the right surgeon and all roads lead to Dr. Desman.

I chose him because of all the amazing reviews I read and they were all absolutely right. Everyone at VCPS was helpful and professional from the moment you call to set up the consultation (especially Martha being as though she answered my hundreds or phone calls and questions leading up to surgery). Dr. Desman focused on me and listened to everything I wanted.

He was very thorough from day one and always made sure to explain everything, step by step, to me and my mom. He told me exactly what to expect when I got to the hospital all the way to how I would feel after the surgery. And on the day of surgery he was patient and walked me through everything again. I'm currently 4 weeks post-op and I feel amazing!

No sign of neck or back pain. I didn't experience any pain after surgery, just soreness, which is way better than I expected. Scarring is very minimal. You can tell Dr. Desman took his time and was extremely neat. I feel so free and I would 100% do this again. I can't give enough thanks and praise to Dr. Desman and his team at VCPS for changing my life! Thank you!

I went to Dr. Desman because I wanted to improve my Breast size. After having 4 babies, I wasn't left with too much and decided to get Breast Augmentation. After doing my research, I decided to do an consult with Dr. Desman. My experience was excellent. He explained everything in full detail. Before going to my appointment, My husband was a little iffy about everything.

But felt so at ease after the consult was done. I scheduled my surgery the following week with Dr. Desman. My entire experience has been Amazing from beginning to end. My rapid recovery was the BEST! I actually went to work the next day. No narcotics were needed or anything. I am soooooo Glad that I choose Dr. Desman for my procedure. I would recommend him to all my Family and Friends.

I LOVE the VCPS! Dr. Desman is an amazing doctor. I lost 70 pounds and desperately wanted to get the extra skin removed. He performed my abdominalplasty perfectly, with little pain and scarring. Both him and his staff have treated me like family, making sure to be on call for even the smallest concerns. The surgery changed my life in all the best ways and I feel so lucky to have picked him to be my surgeon. He's the best. VCPS is the best and I could absolutely see myself returning in the future with any other cosmetic inquiries.

A - the office staff was Attentive, Amazing, and Answered all of my questions with much knowledge. B - Dr. Desman is Brilliant in making one Beautiful! We are all beautiful, but his talent is Best in making the parts we want fine tuned Better! C - Dr. Desman is Competent, Compassionate, and was Clear in explanations of procedures I was having, and addressed all of my Concerns while making me feel Comfortable.

I am so happy with Dr Desman and his office, and can't believe I waited so long to have the surgery I've been wanting for years. I also love my Botox and lip filler so much. Would recommend him to anyone and everyone, including my family members! Thank you VCPS, for everything!

Dr. Desman's rapid recovery program for breast augmentation is probably the best thing around. I have had zero pain following his program and I am so in love with my results. They are everything I wanted and more. His staff is fantastic and makes you feel so comfortable right away. I *highly* recommend this Doctor.

Dr. Desman performed liposuction my thigh area. Unfortunately, he was just not experienced or skilled enough to handle this tricky area and the results were lumpy and saggy. I am now unable to wear a bathing suit or shorts and my self esteem has suffered to much that I don't feel comfortable dating anymore. Dr. Desman attempted to fix it with a second surgery but was unable to make the area look better.

I went to several other plastic surgeons to see if anything could be done to fix the botched surgery and it would cost an additional $15,000, on top of the $12,000 I already spent with Dr. Desman. I did my due diligence and did a lot of internet research on Dr. Desman, even speaking with a woman who sued him. She strongly encouraged me NOT to go ahead with the procedure, obviously I did not listen.

I encourage anyone who is considering having a procedure with Dr Desman to read my story and others and look up the claims of clients who have sued him. My life will never be the same and I now have a deformed body for the rest of my life. UPDATE: As you can see below, Dr. Desmn has attempted to respond to this review. Upon first learning of this, they emailed me and desperately tried to get me to remove it (of course). When i told them I would not as I wanted their future clients to have all the facts, all they could do was post what they did below.

Had an appointment with Dr. Desman last Tuesday (Dec. 6, 2011) and was amazed on how nice of a doctor he is. I used to work in the hospital in an Orthopedic dept. and not all M.D.'s are nice. There are some but Dr. Desmon is exceptional. He definitely made me at ease on talking about the procedure than I want to get.
