If I can give more than 5 stars I would. I received the best care from the labor and delivery team. Everyone went above and beyond to make me feel heard and comfortable even though it was more than eight scheduled deliveries going on at the same time back to back. There was not one single nurse or doctor that didn't make me feel valued. Best experience I had with childbirth and a hospital.

Gave birth here in March and this was the best experience, for childbirth of course. The staff was amazing! I truly feel I couldn't have finished pushing if it wasn't for my nurse Hilary. YOU ARE AMAZING! Everyone was very supportive, professional, nice, and just there every time they were needed. Thank you so much for making my childbirth experience a breeze! Every single person I came in contact with was absolutely stellar!

Nobody likes the hospital, especially the Emergency Room. But the staff made it tolerable (somewhat). They took good care of my wife, were attentive and made her as comfortable as possible. We spent 6 hours there, which I was told was a good amount of time (supposedly). And I hope not to revisit it again anytime soon (hopefully).

Great doctors and staff. We had a very good experience with having a C-section birth here and recovering. Let me clear - I believe the care team at WakeMed is first class all the way. This review does not get 4 or 5 stars because the building is not well maintained. I feel like a businesses appearance goes a long way in promoting an experience that will be safe - that's very important in medicine.
There's little to no grounds maintenance. It's also out of date. Trash is typically full in the restrooms (in the two days I've been here). Health and wellness is also lacking. They don't push "avaguard in, avaguard out" cleaning/sanitization protocols like I've seen at other hospitals or medical facilities. Also, why do they have so much sugary options in th cafeteria?
They should not be promoting sugary drinks, desserts, and candy. I've also seen quite a few staff not wearing masks or wearing below the nose. I'm also a bit concerned about security going into the maternity ward. Some of the desk security guys just let me right in, others are very questioning - calling to verify, etc.

I went in this morning with side and abdominal pain. From triage to the back no one considered me just another person coming in with pain. They ran blood work and urine, that looked good but they didn't stop there. They ran a ct scan and found an issue and followed it with an ultrasound just to be 100%. I truly appreciate everyone who helped me today and didn't give up, who actually went above and beyond and got me the answers I needed. Now I can get the correct help and follow up with who I need to. Thank you guys for everything you do. I will definitely be back if I ever have another issue!

I appreciate the excellent care that the nurses at Neuro ICU provided for my mother during her stay. They were the best! Thanks so much everyone! I am also very thankful to hospital campus security for their assistance in retrieving my car keys and a balloon that got stuck on a post in the visitor parking lot. You guys were awesome!

My wife is having heart issues so we are going back and forth to this facility including having had same day surgery twice. I am quite impressed overall at how the campus functions. The staff is pleasant and helpful. The interior is spacious and designed well and the doctors are excellent. Parking is a little difficult and scheduling somewhat laborious but I am still tempted to give it an A minus overall. If I compare this hospital system to to UNC this is by far superior in our experience.
