Contact dermatitis is an allergic or irritant reaction to a substance that has touched the skin. This can be a cream, lotion, cosmetic, plant, metal, dye, shoe or clothing component, soap or detergent, etc. The classic example of contact dermatitis is poison ivy. Identifying the cause of the contact dermatitis can be straightforward, or may require extensive detective work or patch testing.
Psoriasis is skin condition consisting of scaly, inflamed patches of skin usually on the elbows, knees and scalp. It may also be on other areas and may be associated with arthritis of the knees, hands and back (psoriatic arthritis). Although the exact cause of psoriasis is unclear, imbalance of the immune system appears to play a role.
Skin tags are benign skin growths that appear to be soft, hanging pieces of skin. They are common and harmless, but can be irritating and make people feel self-conscious. Skin tags can be inherited, or develop due to increased weight or other unknown causes. Both men and women are prone to developing skin tags.

Dr. Ross was great very informative and professional and really nice! My only issue is the staff's timing with patients. I do light therapy and you have to arrive really early cause they tend to run behind. I have also been forgotten about twice in the lobby. They checked me in then 30 minutes would pass by and I still.wouldnt get called for the treatment which takes only 5 minutes and cleanliness could be a little better but other than that it was.okay.

I had a completely different experience. I met with Dr. Sheila Krishna for less than 30 seconds when it was determined that they could not provide service due to my insurance coverage (GOLD HMO). When I inquired as to why they even booked the appointment - knowing they did not have the correct insurance "codes"- the doctor became highly agitated and combative.
I was the one sitting there in my underwear. I had taken time off of work and wanted some explanation. A couple of weeks later, without any further follow-up, I was sent a "termination of care" letter from Dermatologist Medical Group of North County. Wow not good!

Every time I go I can count on getting the best help I need either in Encinitas or Oceanside. I have been to a few derms but I like to see Mellisa she is so knowledgeable and actually listens to me. If she's not available I also see Mitzy she's soo nice too and doesn't make assumptions since I am young and with my multiple sclerosis background. I am well taken care of here! Thank you so much!

I have been coming here for a number of years. My doctor is so sweet, and I never feel embarrassed around her. She's easy to talk to. She knows her job very well. I come into the office, twice a year. My doctor always respects my time. She never makes me wait. She is always on time. The girls at the front desk, are fast, and efficient, and very polite.

I've made quite a few visits to DMGNC, and each time have been met with friendly, competent people. Of the many procedures I've had there, all have been relatively painless, and professionally accomplished under sterile conditions. I also received excellent aftercare such as bandages changes or suture removal which are done in a caring manner. I highly recommend this office.

I've been seeing Dr. Scheinberg since my late teens - I'm actually one of his original patients when he started his practice! When my daughters also developed acne, I sent them to see him as well. And not just for acne but for all kinds of skin problems that my family has. Now I'm seeing Dr. Maly and love him too. And when my daughter moves back to this area, I'll be sending her to DMG for all her dermatology needs. I recommend them highly!

Dr. Goldenberg is the best! She is personable, takes the time answer questions thoroughly and has a lovely disposition. I always feel very comfortable when seeing her. My entire family goes to see Dr. G for various concerns and she has helped each of us. Scheduling is easy at this place and we always have a wonderful experience.

DMG is always very professional and friendly and kind they do a wonderful job on their surgery and just everyday things that you might need. a dermatologist for I would recommend them 100% they are great. the only thing I would suggest is that people that are having the m o h s surgery that the Dermatology Group would have a room for them to go into instead of out in the lobby where they could watch TV or read a book or plug in their phone and use their phone that's the only thing that they don't have there and it would really help because it's not very fun sitting just out in the lobby where everybody can look at you but otherwise Dermatology Group is wonderful

Taken care of like a princess! This was a great experience. From beginning to end. The important thing is they are professional and friendly. They were able to recognize a problem and solve it quickly. You can't even see my scar! Then taught me how to care for my skin for now on. I am very happy with this office, obviously.
