Vista community clinic is a crock! They prescribed me three months of hypertension medication and then when it came time for a refill they tried to make me pay for a televisit. I informed them I didn't have insurance at this time and wanted to know what the visit would cost, they led me on for days about a discount plan. Once they said I didn't qualify for the discount it would be $100 for the visit and someone would let me know if there would be an extra charge after the visit, since no one was even going to touch me and I was only getting a prescription refill I figured it would just be the $100 (as if that wasn't bad enough) but the.

After she took my payment said the supervisor would call o tell me the rest of the charge after my visit! Wth?! Why would you be charging me more? This is a medication you prescribed me at this location, one you should not stop taking cold Turkey. They don't care about anything but that $$$ guys. Watch out

Every single one of their clinics are unorganized and confused. They need to restructure their entire system. I can never get in contact with anyone who can actually help me. Go to a real doctors office. This place treats you like cattle

They wouldn't allow MY HUSBAND and FATHER OF OUR BABY to attend ANY ultrasound. This is disgusting, I can understand not wanting a bunch of people in the room and expecting masks but excluding a FATHER? ARE YOU KIDDING ME? Immediately stopped care there and will infact go full Karen mode warning friends to not receive the incompassionate care from VCC.

If I could give them 0 stars I would. Wouldn't recommend anyone go here. If you have tricare, call and switch to another clinic. Terrible clinic, terrible bedside manor & customer service. Gross dirty clinic. Couldn't help but notice how majority of the staff had long bedazzled finger nails. Saw Maria Zamora-Flyr and she did an awful job at easing any concerns I had.

Great staff; excellent nursing and administrative staff. Cute, quiet, caring clinic. Physicians are phenomenal. They provide a perfessionally personable medical experience. I recommend this clinic over all others in the area.

Went in to see Dr. Murray Bennett this morning to get psych meds. He was 30 minutes late. I have been in worst state of depression and anxiety in my entire life. I hate life right now. I feel like things are constantly getting worse. I have felt terrible and have not come out of my room for 2 month's. I thought today would be the day that I would be able to come out of my room and out of this dark hole. Dr. Bennett MD was not helpful at all.

He had a poor attitude and he was 30 minutes late for our appointment. When he finally got to the office he gossiped for 10 minutes talking bad about other people. He was judgemental and I felt like I was in an interrogation room not doctor's office. Unfortunately now I have to risk my life crossing the border to Mexico to get the meds I need to finally come out of my room and get some relief from this suffering.

This clinic, along with the sister clinics provide sub-par and outdated care. I have been a "client" at Vista Community Clinic for over 3 years now and have experienced extremely long wait times just to get in contact with someone who can schedule an appoint or resolve an issue. Scheduling an appointment can be done via text, through their online portal or via a phone call; however, expect an appointment (this is based on every experience I've had making an appointment with VCC) to be scheduled a minimum of three weeks in the future, all the way up to a a month and a half in the future.

This is probably due to the high-volume of clients they attempt to expedite through their archaic health-care providers. Who in the world has their time to fuss with such slow and half-baked services when many of us have work, school and multiple personal issues to deal with on a monthly basis? Expect passive-aggressive retaliation by staff if by chance you can't make one of their appointments, as per my experience with VCC. Furthermore, doctors I have been seen by at each of the various VCC locations (especially Horne St.) have provided sub-par care with an, "what kind of insurance do you have?," attitude. Doctors who are not Psychiatrists are willing to malpractice by prescribing psychiatric medications without referral to an actual Psychiatrist, as per my experience.

The staff Psychiatrist here was lauded, by staff, as an excellent Psychiatrist; however, it has been my experience that they cannot communicate effectively and are only interested in serving lay-folk who won't question their business-first practices. It truly doesn't seem as if the health-care providers, or staff, truly care about hearth-care or their, "clients, " at Vista Community Clinic (VCC) and this has been my experience. I would be happy to elaborate on specific past experiences if necessary. I hope that this review can offer a realistic view on the services provided here.

I was very disappointed with my nurse Jennifer Kessler, I visited the clinic on 1/24/19 and I was supposed to recieve an important antibiotics prescription, but due to Nurse Kesslers negligence i was not able to receive my medication the day I needed but not until the day after I was supposed to have it because she never sent my prescription to the pharmacy!

I found that unbelievable that she did not perform a very important step in her job because how can a doctor not send a needed prescription?! She showed very poor health care providing skills. Please be aware of this and make sure your prescriptions are sent when they are supposed to be sent!

This office single-handedly prevented me from getting medical treatment. After going to an urgent care they said they needed authorization from Dr. Earl Miller's office. Dr. Miller's office refused to do so and said I had to be seen by them since they were open. After driving to Dr. Miller's office I was told there were no appointments and I could not be seen. Dr. Miller had left for the day.

They said I could see a nurse, who was great actually. But she told me they could not do x-rays there anyway. I was sent back to the original urgent care with the understanding they would authorize treatment. However when I got back to urgent care Dr. Miller's office again refused to provide written authorization. A woman named Noami in billing said they wouldn't do it and would not give her last name.

So after making me drive back and forth between care facilities twice with a swollen ankle I could not beat any weight on I still was unable to be treated. VCC and Dr. Earl Miller's office need to be investigated for not only poor quality of care, but preventing patients from receiving care from places that are capable.
