This place is very nice. Surprised that it's open late. The staff is friendly and professional. The man that helped me was friendly and helpful with my comfort. He was quick and thorough. The place was spotless clean. I was very impressed with the service.

Well, good luck contacting this business. I have an appointment for a test in 4 days and called to find out some info about the test. The first time I called, I was transferred to someone who "could help you". I waited 10 minutes for them to pick up the phone to answer my question. Nope. Then I called back and the same exact thing happened. Another 10 minute wait. So, I called back again.

This time the woman I spoke to the second time put me on hold to connect me to Heather, a supervisor who could answer my question. After another 10 minutes I still have not been connected. Pretty much the same thing happened to me a year ago. I finally had to drive to their Encinitas location, wait in line and get the info I needed. Find another imaging center to run your tests.

Great place for MRI! They have evening and weekend appointments! Radiologist called the same evening with urgent results! Very professional, clean and friendly!

Holly was very caring and knowledgeable and found my vein for IV in preparation for my PET scan. I felt comfortable and she put my fears and concerns to rest. I dressed warm with knit hat and turtleneck with sweater as the imaging room was very cold. They tucked a hot blanket around me and I fell asleep for the entire 20 minutes in the scanner. Best thing was the infusion waiting room had beautiful video of Bali or the Philippine Islands. You could bring your headphones and calm music to chill out for 45 minutes! KarenL.

I have had imaging done at a handful of different business's and locations over the last few years and IHS has always been a step above the rest in every way. BUT yesterday at the Encinitas location was WOW! I took the appointment with them because it was the 1st available when I was making the appointment. It was at 7AM (6:30AM arrival time) and I drove from Lakeside.

Long drive. But it was worth it. Technician was the best I have ever had. He was calm, and showed true kindness the whole time. He did not act like he was just doing his job, he behaved in a manner like he was there to take care of me. The atmosphere was so calm which I really appreciated.

The whole process has been made simple and efficient in a way that makes you feel comfortable. From scheduling the appointment, filling out your forms online, checking in from the parking lot via text and being called into the building via text as well, to the radiology technicians that are always professional and courteous. I have had their services at least 4 different times for different reasons, and every single one of them has always been kind. They are great team.

I have only experience with the PET folks. Last Friday was my 5th PET scan. The staff were very friendly and courteous. The waiting areas were clean and comfortable. The scan area was spotless and the whole scan experience was professional and fairly comfortable. I would recommend anyone needing a PET scan to sign up with IHS.

I had a great experience here. The person that booked my appointment was professional, courteous & got me an appointment rather quickly. The girl who did my exam was extremely professional but also very warm. A breast exam can be uncomfortable but Megan was kind and explained everything she was doing. I highly recommend them

I did not have to wait after my appointment time. The receptionist took me right away and was very efficient. The sonographer took me right away at my appointed time. Awesome visit to have CT scans, four of them. Advised to come at 4 o'clock 15 minutes early which I did. They promptly took me in and Jennifer the technician explained the process for taking my CT scans, abdominal and pelvic both with and without contrast. This involved an intravenous injection that Jennifer explained to me was to trace the high contrast.

She walked me through the process and told me it would only take 10 minutes to get the scans, and then in 24 hours they would be in my personal care physician's hands. Lying down and letting the machine take the scans was a piece of cake. It was easy to set the appointment by phone, the reception in the lobby was available quickly and told me where to wait before the technician took me in, and everything went smoothly. It can't be any better than this!

I'm giving them a five-star for their staff professionalism and knowledge. For some procedures you can get an appointment but for x-rays you cannot walk-in only. There always is an hour or more wait for walk-ins. The staff is always friendly and helpful if you have any paperwork that hasn't been processed from your doctor they will help you as much as they can.

If you don't want to sit inside and wait which I usually do not when I go there there's a nice patio with plants tables and chairs. There is free parking and there's also metered parking on the street. This time I was in the Radiology with Paris a kind and knowledgeable technician. Who let me know every time that I needed to change body poses and gently moved me into position when I was not.

She laughed at my sense of humor which made me feel very comfortable being there. My experience going here over the years has always been a good one and I highly recommend this particular Imaging Center.

I was extremely impressed with Imaging Healthcare Specialists. My appointment was right on time, and I was in and out quickly. I also received my results very quickly. Plus, I appreciated their Covid precautions.

I had two appointments and they booked them one after the other. First was an MRI. I checked in on my phone. They told me to come in and go to a certain area, only sat there maybe 5 minutes. Never had MRI before. Tech was great and friendly. Seemed to go by quickly. Next was a DEXA Scan only it was 35 minutes until appointment time. Receptionist said she would let them know, sit down and wait please.

Three minutes later they called me. This tech was also very personable and I felt at ease. And it was quicker than the MRI. I would have to say that is pretty amazing. And then a couple of hours later I received an email and the reports and images were available. This is a very well oiled machine. Sure it isn't always that way, but if it is you are on to something stellar.

Where do I start? I wish I could give 100 stars. Everything about my experience here was better than I could have expected. Beth and Natalie are patient advocates and can get you through anything! My doctor was amazing and reassuring. Thank you for addressing my health concerns but also taking care of my mental well-being with all of this.

Great place, easy to get to, relaxed atmosphere. Receptionists were friendly and professional. Technician was professional and explained the whole procedure. Always come here for my exams.

I went for a 3d mammogram and was very nervous about the compression. I had Michelle as the tech. She was very pleasant and quick. She did her best to keep me comfortable. She took 4 views the compression was about 15 to 20 seconds long for each of the four views. It was not bad at all. I took an extra strength Tylenol before I went.

Always an efficient and good experience at the Imaging Healthcare Specialist Hillcrest location. I haven't been for since COVID and just love how they handle things now w virtual registration, parking check in etc. FANTASTIC!

Amazing front office staff! They are so upbeat and friendly. I've never seen anything like it in any medical facility. The x-ray technicians are so knowledgeable. They worked with me and my goal to get a specific angle and picture on my spine. They were so nice friendly but most of all so professional! I drove an hour to go to this imaging center. I have dozens by my house but this place has the best medical staff and Radologist that read the images. I won't go anywhere else for sure!

Great facility and staff. Clean and everyone was so helpful. The room for waiting after they gave me a medication before the scan was awesome. I had to wait 45 mins for the medication to go through my body and the recliner and monitor showing beautiful lad and sea scapes was outstanding!

I've gotten my mammograms here every year and recently had a knee x-ray. The office is very clean and safe. They have excellent protocols for safety. The staff is friendly and professional. The technicians have always been excellent. Whenever I need imaging, I always ask my doctors to send me here. I'm very pleased with Imaging Healthcare specialists.

I had my biopsy done at this location a couple of days ago and everything went so great. From the check in process to the check out. Natalie was the person explaining the procedure to me and getting me ready, she's the sweetest and made me feel so comfortable. Even offered to hold my hand during the procedure. The doctor was amazing too. All my questions were answered and everything was explained to me in detail. I was so nervous before my appointment but they made it so much better. Thank you again!

I had to pay upfront for the MRI but they've been "reviewing" a request from my insurance for 3 months. I wish I didn't have to pay upfront because this should have already counted towards my insurance deductible. Hopefully you can learn from me and request to pay once the insurance is processed, if at all possible.

Staff there are really nice and professional dont take me wrong but I took my mom today to get an MRI while waiting in the lobby they took my mom from one room had her walk just in her gown open back with all her stuff and walk to another room to the other side of the building with all the patients there. One that is inappropriate to do you cant just ha e a patient walk half way naked in between all other people.

Two you dont make the patient feel good my mom was really upset because she advised they did not even put another gown on her to cover her back and lastly dont they have another way of walking with a patient thru another part of the building where there is no one to see you. That is envading personal privacy and it really upset me because no one did nothing. First and last time I come to this horrible facility.

When I read the bad reviews of this facility I didn't want them to discourage me from getting my X-rays. I needed them quickly and all of my previous experiences at this facility had been positive. As I had suspected, it was great. I got in within 10 minutes, and the technician was funny, made me feel relaxed and got me out of there in 15 minutes.

As is usually the case, the only people to write reviews are the ones who are always dissatisfied for one reason or another. Just don't go during the lunch hour and the wait is fine.

Excellent service. Was unusually busy when I was a walk-in, so she offered to let me wait in my car and they'd text me. Took much less time than anticipated and very friendly technician. Everyone here is great!

Front office was completely professional. However, Kaylie in the X-Ray department was extremely unprofessional. I have a fractured fibula and I had to unwrap my own splint. Luckily my brother was in there to help me wrap it up. I'm not to sure if it is in her job description to help her patient to wrap and unwrap their injured areas but that is where empathy plays a vital role in the medical field.

This one was easy was in on Saturday morning. Took 6 weeks to get this appointment. They make you show up 30 min before your appointment. My guess is they want you waiting as long as possible. You get a text message saying they will be with you but if they don't to come in 10 min after your appointment time. So having waited for 45 min I come in and stand in the designated line.

The person behind the counter. Sees me standing there for 10 min. Now mind you I am there for a knee injury and standing is both painful and uncomfortable. The lady behind the counter continues to make sure she makes no eye contact with me, but when she finally does I can tell my being here is a major annoyance in her life. I look around the room and it's almost empty, what could I have done wrong?

I literally only came in and stood in line, I'm HURT and I'm here to get help. Yup wrong place if you are looking for anyone to actually care for anyone in that category. Care that your sick, care that your hurt, care that your injured. Now this was just my experience today. And I hope that if you go yours is better.

Mammo technician was the best, she knew what "tail of Spence" was, and took her time to get mine properly imaged. The ultrasound tech saw after was also kind and professional. They both helped me to feel comfortable and showed real compassion. I've been coming here for 5 years, and really seen a huge improvement in the quality of care and promptness in scheduling has improved.

Only issue was, having the mammo and ultrasound scheduled hours apart on the same day. Would prefer to have them back to back so I didn't have to take an entire afternoon off from work.

Ask For Brendon. You never know what someone is going through. Sometimes people going in for imaging are in a fragile state. I went in today wondering if my very aggressive cancer was back. The facility is clean, and very nice, and they are taking all the proper precautions. All of that doesn't matter as much as the care I received. Today I got Brendon, the gem of the imaging department.

He was kind and professional and treated me like I was his only priority. He is proficient, goes the extra mile and is humble. If you are facing tough questions this center is going to provide answers to, don't hesitate to ask for Brendon. He is truly an asset.

By far one of the worst experiences I have ever had getting imaging. The woman who administered the MRI for me (brown hair going gray) was incredibly rude and disrespectful. I have severe muscle spasms (which I cannot control) and alerted her of this prior to the start of my imaging and she actually yelled at me several times. I know you are supposed to be still for the imaging but given the fact that I gave her heads up - you would think she would be a bit more kind given that it's something I cannot control.

I will say there was an incredibly nice older bald man who was an absolute doll. If you must visit this place - I pray that you do not have to deal with the woman I had the pleasure of seeing.

Arrived right at check in, which was 15 mins before my set appt at 1:30 - Interesting, everyone that came after me went before me. This is my first visit at this location. The wait time is way different then the Oceanside location. I been waiting for over 30 mins. They have more staff then the Oceanside location but service is way slower. The Oceanside location would be my referred location not here. Updating my thoughts after experiencing great service once I was seen. Erica from the ultra sound dept. helped me feel at ease. I appreciate her kind words. Thank you. Due to her friendly caring personality, I changed the rating from 2 to 4 stars

My husband had already had CAT scans and MRIs to try to figure out what was causing him so much pain after his botched "routine " gall bladder surgery. Next up, PET scan. The staff here is very pleasant when checking in. I guess they're used to a lot of cancer patients because when my husband went in for his scan, guy said "how long have you had cancer?" Say what now? Cancer? Holy shit. That's not your normal small talk. Overall very nice experience all things considered.

Easy access, free parking. Professional, friendly staff. Comprehensive protocols for Covid19 safety. Clean and quiet waiting area. So grateful for relative quiet, no annoying TV or musak. Electronic systems worked without a hitch, from my doctor's order to my walk- in. My X-ray technician did not annoy me by asking me to LAY down, instead of LIE down.

Be prepared to show your insurance cards and driver's licenses twice. They will not accept appointments, but the 20 minute wait did not seem unreasonable to me. I have lived in San Diego nearly 40 years with several changes of insurance, so I have visited a great variety of medical services. This company and location is now one of my top choices.

I cannot recommend these people any higher. they are fantastic. I was scheduled for an MRI and totally through my actions and all my fault, I showed up at the wrong facility for the procedure. I was supposed to be in Oceanside. and showed up at Encinitas. The staff went out of their way to find a spot for me and with as little delay as possible they got me in.

The procedures for COVID we well thought out. I felt welcome, safe and secure at all times. The tech that did the MRI was a great guy and joked with me. calmed all my concerns. He put a warm blanket under and over me and I was never chilled. I recommend them Highly.

Quick check in on a Saturday appointment. Clean facility and taken in for scan on time. Plenty of free patient parking. Turn into parking lot before passing the building because once you pass it's a one way street.
