I am one week post op from rhinoplasty and wow! First off, I look exactly how I've always hoped my nose could look. Dr. Bartlett did such a beautiful job for me. And the whole nurse staff is amazing. I got heated socks and a heated blanket when I arrived for my surgery and everyone ensured I was very comfortable. The anesthesiologist was also great and made me laugh when I was going under. It was all very seamless. Thank you!

I am 2 days post op from a breast reduction done by Dr. Bartlett. We chose Brigham and Woman's Faulkner hospital to do the surgery at. I am THRILLED with how they look so far and I haven't needed to take one narcotic, only Tylenol. Dr. Bartlett took such good care of me and let me know a timeline for when I should go back to everyday activities I was doing prior to surgery.

Nurse Emily that works at his practice kept me in the loop and had amazing communication with me about the surgery and even my disability paperwork. This has been an amazing life changing experience for me and I couldn't be any happier. My first post op visit is Wednesday! I had FTM top surgery with Bartlett and could not recommend him enough. He listened to everything I said about how I wanted my chest to look, and did just that. I didn't have almost any pain after surgery and the only meds I took was Tylenol. His office assistant Sarah was an absolute sweetheart. She took great care of be during my post op and assured me everything looked great. Overall I had an amazing experience and I am so glad I chose him to do my surgery.

Every step of the way was explained clearly and respectfully. Not only is his work AMAZING, but every member of his team is so professional and friendly. I never felt stranded--I knew I could go to them and receive prompt replies to questions. I felt very comfortable: I knew what to expect, I knew what to watch out for. I've had a lot of friends get top surgery with other surgeons, but I have to say: my results at 3 months look worlds better than theirs do after a year. My experience with Dr. Bartlett and his staff was absolutely amazing. I've never been to a doctor's office that was this responsive and helpful before. From my first consultation, I knew I trusted Dr. Bartlett and his staff. I had DI top surgery and would recommend for any trans or gender non-conforming individuals looking to have top surgery. Dr. Bartlett and his staff follow-up multiple times to ensure the healing process is going well and I'm only three weeks post-op at this point. My results are already looking great. I'm happy that I chose Dr. Bartlett to be my surgeon and recommend him and his phenomenal staff to everyone.

Dr. Bartlett took such good care of me throughout the process of getting double incision surgery. He was friendly and welcoming, and everyone in his office made me feel at home. The surgery went smoothly and my results turned out better than I expected. I couldn't have chosen a better surgeon!

Dr. Bartlett did my Rhinoplasty and I could not be happier with the results. I would recommend him a millions times. This was a surgery I wanted for about 15 years and I am thrilled with how it turned out. He has my before and after pictures and not only is my new nose perfect but it looks just like what he predicted it would with my pictures he took on the very first visit. His team was amazing! Everyone was so sweet and helpful. I appreciate the entire office.

After meeting him for my pre-op appointment, I had no worries or nervousness whatsoever prior to my surgery, even up until the last minute before going under. Dr. Bartlett has a calm demeanor that signifies his confidence in his abilities. He took his time and made sure my results were exactly what I wanted - very minimal scarring, it almost looks like I never even had surgery four months ago.

His nurses were also a good representation of Dr. Bartlett, as well. They were on it when I needed a question answered and were flexible when I needed to change my appointments. I highly suggest Dr. Bartlett and his staff. I paid a bit more than say other surgeons might have sold me for but I feel like I got a higher quality surgery outcome, as well.

For anyone who is thinking of having a tummy tuck/liposuction, or both (which I had) Dr. Bartlett is the doctor to see. From the first phone call, the first visit, to the decision making. He and his staff are amazing. This is quite the surgery. It takes time to heal and lots of patience. Dr. Bartlett and his staff was with me for every step of the way.

Everything went smoothly. I'm so happy with the results. I am 52yrs old (not young nor old).lol. But with this surgery, I feel like a new person. I can do some much more and have been working hard to keep how I like. I can't thank Dr. Bartlett and his staff enough! There were times I was calling with tons of questions after the surgery, and they always took my calls and questions extremely serious.

Absolutely horrendous office with an amazingly rude staff apparently emulating an equally egotistical doctor with an amazing chip on his shoulder. Called them based on a referral from both another doctor AND my insurance company based on the need to have a modified male mastectomy; a harrowing experience for anyone but especially scary for a male where it is a less commonly performed procedure. Having had other procedures performed on my chest in the past and wanting this to be the last one and as attractive as possible once completed, I wanted a doctor who knew the male anatomy and was familiar with this procedure. Was summarily dismissed by an incredibly rude female at the desk who informed me that the doctor "does not do revision surgery".

I tried to explain this wasn't revising a prior surgery but rather was the result of new growths discovered on my recent mammograms that were growing rapidly and causing concern given my family history of breast cancer and these growths. In response, I was told that the doctor doesn't perform "clean ups" and only works on untouched patients!

What a horrendous response to someone facing this issue. I was in such disbelief that I decided to email the office in the hopes of reaching someone in a position of authority. This time I was told " From: lisa Sent: Thursday, May 30, 2019 12:45 PM Subject: FW: Dr. Bartlett's Office:Website Inquiry Dear Jason, Dr. Bartlett would refer you to Dr. Dhruv Singhal at BI or Dr. EJ Caterson at BWH.

Thank you for your inquiry and we wish you the best. Sincerely, Lisa When I asked if either of these doctors did this procedure or accepted insurance like Dr. Bartlett, I was then met with: "Please call these doctors to check on their policies. Dr. Bartlett himself referred you; unfortunately he does not perform these procedure you are looking for.

However you may call the doctors offices I gave you to find a surgeon who can help you." Thank you. He is clearly not a compassionate doctor and is clearly only interested in taking on specific cases and based on his reviews, even those he doesn't get 100% correct

Dr. Bartlett is a wonderful surgeon. He is kind, validating, and methodical in his approach to procedures and recovery. His philosophy permeates to his support staff. They are genuine and care about your well being. Throughout this entire process I have left with a smile on my face each time I left the office. I am beyond happy with my results and the support I have gotten from him and the wonderful nurse team who deserve their own review for how great they are as well. Five stars is not enough to honor what his office does for their patients!

I highly recommend Dr. Bartlett and his staff, especially for anyone looking for a gender-confirmation surgery. I had FTN top surgery with him several months ago, and every part of the process has been great. The intake form asked about preferred pronouns, and I was never misgendered by the doctor or staff (pretty rare occurrence for they/them pronouns).

The staff are very nice and have responded promptly to inquiries. From the initial consultation onward, I got the impression that Dr. Bartlett was a kind and capable person. He explained the procedure clearly and answered my questions in a straightforward way. At the hospital prior to the surgery, he was similarly clear and compassionate. The surgery itself went very well.

I had no complications, and the healing process has gone smoothly. The results also look great--smooth incision lines (no crooked scars or dog-ears), very symmetrical, very natural appearance overall. I get the sense that Dr. Bartlett really cares about doing a good job and takes pride in his work. Would definitely recommend him!

Stay away from this place and you will be happy you did. The front desk lost the copy of my insurance card 3 times and when I complained about it my surgery got canceled one week prior to the scheduled date. Doctor Richard Bartlett was very unprofessional during all this. This is the second time I reviewed him and someone the review gets deleted

This dr. Is incredibly deceptive. I understand he has pleased some patients and that is very lucky for them because he is ruthless when it comes to getting your money. He will say whatever necessary to gain your trust and then cause disfigurement and behave like its nothing- like its your fault when the bandages come off and you realize you've been mutilated by him.

I even gave him the benefit of doubt while waiting in agony for six months before I judged but it never "healed". I even still thought he was a normal human being until at my six month follow up I had the courage to say this looks bad and at one point he doubled over on his little stool and turned red in the face and had a tantrum and looked at me with pupils the size of pin holes and said- how dare you.

He also gets his assistant to lie for him. His behavior immediately after the procedure obviously indicated he was afraid to get sued and that was terrifying to me. What he has done to my life at times seems irreparable. His actions are beyond evil. I like to believe he can't do things like this to people without suffering the consequences at some point.

He's well worth the money and time to check out, I went into surgery over a year ago, his work is flawless; I should have a very large scar across my chest due to the type of procedure I was going in for.and it's hardly even visible. His staff was respectful and helpful, came from out of state and they were really great about getting back to me fast with answers, I would recommend Dr. Bartlett to anybody looking for reconstructive surgery.

Dr. Bartlett and his staff are top-notch. My daughter had a rhino/septoplasty a year ago, and she looks beautiful - she had a severely deviated septum and her nose was pretty off-center. She has virtually no visible scarring and her confidence level has increased dramatically. Dr. Bartlett's pain-free approach is amazing - other practitioners and and patients should take notice.

My daughter experienced very little, if any, pain. The swelling and bruising were minimal as well. We looked around quite a bit before we decided on Dr. Bartlett. He is highly skilled, and my daughter found him to be very comforting - it was her first (and hopefully last) surgery and she (and yes, me) were nervous. His nurse Sarah is wonderful and his administrative staff very easy to work with as well. We highly recommend Dr. Bartlett.

Dr. Bartlett is a very nice and understanding person and his office staff are extremely helpful and organized. He also uses digital imaging to show you what results he foresees, and to ensure that patients are pleased with the results that he has projected (which is extremely rare in this area, for some reason). I had a nasal surgery a little while back and although the results were not over-done or unnatural (which is a rarity for most doctors), I did not get 100% of my desired look, which could be the result of any number of reasons.

My septum was beautifully fixed, my nose was given a very natural look, and although I will be getting a second surgery to achieve the desired results that I originally wanted, Dr. Bartlett really did do a great job. I realized after the surgery that a minor change was not all that I really wanted, but if you are looking for natural looking subtle changes, he is a great match for you. His bedside manner is amazing and he seems to care equally about his patients both before and after surgery.

I'm sorry to write a bad review, but Dr. Bartlett operated on a precancerous birthmark on my child's back several years ago and assured us the scarring would be minimal and even not noticeable within a year. First of all, he never shared the results of the growth he removed. I'm not confident he even had it tested. Second, it is now at least 4 years later and the poor child has a lumpy, bumpy, 8 -long scar that shows no sign of ever getting better.

My child's pediatrician, who recommended Dr. Bartlett, was aghast when she saw the scar, and continues to comment on it each year when we go in for the well-visit. I would never recommend nor revisit Dr. Bartlett for any cosmetic surgery.

I have held this in since 1995. and I just have to vent because as I am looking for plastic surgeons to fix the job he did on me, I scoff at his 5 star rating! It is because of Richard Bartlett that I am afraid to ever allow anyone to touch my body. even to fix the hideous job that he did! But I have to, because I just can't live like this any longer.

I was 16 years old, and while the surgery was somewhat of an emergency- he could have offered a little care and even offered to fix the job that he did once I was stronger and healthier. Instead, he told me to lose weight! When I had in fact already lost a significant amount of weight. I am sorry. losing weight is not going to fix the slanted fold you placed where my a$$ crack is supposed to be.

In fact, I got down to 135lbs at my smallest and guess what Dr. Bartlett it was still there! I used to have a luscious round booty. granted there was celluite, but I am okay with that. But do you have any idea what it is like to have hideous deformities in intimate areas of your body? The a$$ is supposed to be one of the sexiest areas on a woman, especially with our new sexy goddesses, Beyonce, J-lo and Miss Kardashian.

My husband was an a$$ man, I am an a$$ woman. I haven't been able to wear bathing suits ever since this surgery! I can't even wear clothes without assets to shape my a$$et. Of course I have cellulite, but again I am okay with that. I am not okay with sporting a deformed a$$ for my entire life and I am certainly not okay with him having a 5 star rating. Dr. Bartlett, never apologized and never took responsibility for the horrible scar and for the horrible shape he left behind. and he never offered to redo the job.

Which at this point. I wouldn't want to have him touch me with his crass demeanor. but even offering to have another reputable surgeon of my choice to fix it. that would mean the world! The world! I was 16 dammit. 16. Amazing surgeon? My a$$! Literally!

The best! Dr. Bartlett performed a revisionary functional and cosmetic rhinoplasty and septoplasty with an ear cartilage spreader graft on me almost a year ago. I had had similar procedures performed by other board certified plastic surgeons twice before with very poor results. Because of Dr. Bartlett I can now breathe through my nose and am quite pleased with its appearance. He is a perfectionist and his office staff are courteous and hardworking. I highly recommend him!
