First off, Crystal and Bruce were disrespectful beyond belief, i couldn't believe it! nobody deserves to get treated how they treat people! it's like they think they are better than you or something. i wouldn't recommend this place to ANYONE i know. you ask a simple question and they act like your are already supposed to know the answer and look at you like you're dumb. i was so angry when they treated my sister like she was nobody. never going back here!

I wish I could give different review stars for the various people in the whole office. Dr Thompson would get 5 stars he is amazing, takes his time with you and explains everything that you ask about. The guy who does the fittings would get 5 stars as he is very good at what he does. There are 3 women at the front desk; the one that is nearest the door and has red hair would get no more than one star, she is rather rude she doesn't want to do anything to help someone.

The other two women are better than she and one especially was helpful. They would get 3 and 4 stars. I am actually actively looking to go elsewhere with my eye care because of the one woman who is so damn rude. I had a friend call to see about making a new patient appointment and the lady was so rude to her she decided to go elsewhere. Dr Thompson this woman is costing you money and losing your patients.

Dr. Thompson is fantastic! My son had a serious eye infection, and Dr. Thompson and his entire staff are excellent. They took their time and explained everything. Great opthamologist!

Eye exam was fine. Everything else was horrible. When picking out glasses, everything was up-charged without explanation or consulting me. At the end of the day, the bill was over $900 (before insurance) for an exam and one set of frames.

I have seen Dr Thompson a few times over the years. I live and work on the road, so I have used a Variety of eye doctors. A few years back I was unable to get a good correction with contacts but Dr. Thompson was able to figure out the issue and get it corrected immediately. I've been unable to get a proper correction for computer distance reading for several years.

I stopped in Kansas City to visit family and made an appointment with Dr. Thompson, and again he nailed it! For the first time in several years I can read my computer. Thank you Dr. Thompson for all you do!

My wife went there three weeks ago for regular check up and she's not happy at all, she got the prescription and couldn't use her glasses because she feels dizzy and blurry when using her new glasses. She went back to corrected but they just look at the glasses telling it needs to adjusted, now her glasses was adjusted but still the same, she spend a lot of money, time and gas because we live in Gardner. Never to come back and never to recommend this clinic at all

Always friendly and helpful. The staff really worked to get me in quickly when I had an eye infection and the doctor was booked. Dr. Laura is amazing. I have referred a number of people to her, and they all love her, too.

Fully staffed and efficient, Dr. LAURA is awesome. The best experience I've ever had. My experience picking eye wear and was fun and easy. Great recommendations. Great place to go get your eyes taken care of.

Would not recommend. Have been trying to get a copy of my bill from surgery done in March and it's now July. Was told the girl quit who does billing. Months later and it's not available? I felt like leftovers during my time there.

I really enjoy going here. For both my contacts and glasses. Dr. Laura is excellent! Very knowledgeable and personable; takes time to answer any questions. The office staff has always been friendly and helpful. I've even been in a few times to have my glasses adjusted or repaired and they always make the time to help me with no issues. Glad I found them, 100% would recommend!

I love coming to this office for my annual eye exam. The staff is very friendly and explains everything about your exam results and any questions you may have. The testing is thorough and easy to complete. A variety of eye products as well as glasses are available for purchase. I have been coming to this office for several years now and I plan to keep coming back for my future exams.

One of the receptionists is amazing. She was willing to help when others were unable or didnt show up. The lady that adjusts the glasses came in an hour late. It took her 4 minutes to do the full adjustment. Come to find out, no one warned us that the glasses they offered would no be able to be adjusted to fit my son. The same lady that did this also told me they would be done in 2 weeks.

I called 3 weeks later asking. She was quite cut and rudely told me due to the insurance change, it would be a month. I was never told about this. I would have taken him somewhere else. The manager was nice, but she just told me they would be getting a new adjustment lady. Worst experience at an eye doctor. Dont waste your time

My kids had a flawless experience there! Super quick/easy/patient people, especially since I brought all 4 kids. My daughter ended up needing prescription glasses for slight nearsightedness- they arrived in less than a week. And they helped shape and fit the glasses, all while talking to my children like they matter, instead of like an inconvenience. Thank you! We'll be back each year!

I have been under Dr Thompson's care for over one year regarding critical eye issues. I find him to be professional, very thorough, as well as very kind. Dr Thompson truly cares about your wellness. I had an eye injury this past weekend and Dr Thompson delayed his trip out of town in order to see me in his office. His thorough treatment concluded that while my damage was scary, I should retain full vision and use of my eye. I was greatly relieved thanks to Dr Thompson.

The staff is wonderful! Thank you for your service, but I left my glasses but i left my scratched glasses to be repaired (insurance coverage) the very nice lady told me 2 weeks tops!, I did have an option to leave my glasses or have them ship my lenses, taking the risk of fitment issues. I left them. Two weeks tops(they did say they would put a rush), I can swing it.

Two weeks later I'm told they are having problems with the lab. Thompson eye clinic acknowledged they have been problems with the lab over 4 months and that they have not been adequate, I have had no notifications. Don't get me wrong, The employees and Dr. are awesome, but a little notification & no promises would a made a difference in my decision- AND I HAD TO PAY$20.00 SHIPPING AND HANDELING TOO! For no glasses, no update, and recognizing they were associating w/a faulty lab! No RUSH, No Glasses. But I can go get readers, really?

I do like this office. The staff is great, Always smiling! And never, never a long wait. Five stars

Such a fantastic experience with my daughter who hadn't been to an eye doctor before. I was greeted with friendly smiles, very thorough eye exam and the doctor was great at explaining what he was checking for as he went along. My daughter needed a pair of glasses for distance. I was amazed at the endless supply of cute designs. My daughter found a pair that was perfect for her face shape and hair/eye color. The girls fitting her were very patient and kind. I'd highly recommend this eye clinic to friends and family!

Wait time was fairly long, but doc and staff were all very pleasant and helpful. They worked with me to see what my insurance would cover and how many contacts I should get now vs wait until next year to get. A wait is worth it for the personal touch!

My daughter first eye exam for contacts she struggle with different lenses the doctor was not to nice about seeing her several times because he couldn't give her the right ones for her. Also the amount ended up paying was way more then what i was told

Met Dr Thompson through his military unit and was referred to him for cataract surgery for my father. My father received an examination and consultations a couple years ago. The doctor at the time told him that he will not require any glasses to see and he will have 20/20 vision after surgery. I took my father to Dr. Thompson for a second eval. The clinic great and staffs are friendly and welcoming. Dr. Thompson's examinations are more thorough than the previous Dr's consultation.

He was patient and took the time to explain things. He told us, in my opinion, the right thing versus what we wanted to hear. In short, he said that it's impossible to calculate the absolute perfect vision without impact to nearsightedness. He was able to provide us with clinical information on how the calculations are made, how the lenses are curved and how my father's eye curvature and astigmatism will affect the calculations.

His motto was to under promise and over deliver. 2 days after the surgery, we are very pleased with the progress already. I intend to follow up on this review when my father makes a full recovery.

Thompson Eye clinic is an amazing clinic, the staff is always friendly and they keep the clinic clean. I been bringing my kids for almost 5 years here for there annual eye exam every year. Also my husband has come here for his eye exam and glasses. Today I took my son for his eye exam and Dr. Matthew Callewaert did an amazing service.

Dr. Thompson is an excellent doctor and a very nice person. Plan on a longish visit because Dr. Thompson is very thorough with his exam. He patiently answers and explains any questions you may have. Dr. Thompson is a graduate of Johns Hopkins so you can be sure your eyes are well taken care when you visit him.

Dr. Thompson and his staff are amazing. My husband has been seeing him since High School and I have been seeing him the last 10 years or so. First time I went in was about 10 years ago and my eyes were killing me, he did the normal tests for glaucoma, pressure, vision, etc and turned out that I have dry eyes so I uses a saline solution now and my eyes are fine.

I have 20/20 vision with a slight astigmatism and went ahead and bought glasses then. I went back 5 years later with another eye issue. This time it turn out my right eye tear duct was obstructed and gave me drops to take care of the issue. This time I went back yesterday and Dr. Thompson was out so I saw his partner Dr. Cauble who was an absolute delight.

The staff checked me in and did the basic vision test and then Dr. Cauble came in and introduced himself. He was pleasant and happy and genuinely cared about why I was there and what was happening with my left eye. This time it was just allergies and he gave me new drops and a prescription. My vision was still 20/20 with a slight astigmatism and I was due for new glasses so I went ahead and ordered a new pair. I highly recommend both doctors and they also do children's vision test and glasses along with elderly tests.
