I wish I could say I loved this place, but truly, I really felt like I was treated like a number here. I chose JOCO-OBGYN for my pregnancy care. You see every doctor in a rotation-like setting, which, cool with me because you may not get *your* doctor when it's your turn to give birth. (Why choose a doctor then?) Pros: I truly looked forward to seeing Diana at the front desk every visit.
She is incredibly friendly! The sonographers are very sweet and we enjoyed our experiences with them. The medical assistants/nurses are always kind, especially Dr. Lynch's MA/RN. They offer same day appointments during urgent times. I always got a call back quickly when leaving a voicemail for the nurse Cons: -I saw almost every practitioner (some multiple times) and not once was I greeted with my name.
I feel like my name was never said unless it was someone calling me back to go to the appointment. I would have appreciated that personal touch. -They run late all of the time. Once I waited an hour only to be sent home because my doctor was busy and nobody else could see me. Another time I showed up, had my sono, and was sent home because of a "scheduling issue" as if I don't take off work to be there. -I had pregnancy complications that required multiple referrals to maternal fetal medicine.
I was told referrals were sent over, only to call the birth center and hear that they hadn't been sent over, sometimes weeks after the referrals were supposed to be sent. Overall, It felt very much like a "Walmart" experience. Generic, nothing over the top. Slightly disappointing, then it's over.

If you go here, don't go to the nurse practitioner Stacey. my usual doc was booked so I went to her, big mistake.! She doesn't take any of your concerns serious and was passive on everything, I know it was late in the day, maybe she just wanted to go home, but I felt like I should of just waited for the doc. Now I'm going to another doc bc she didn't do her job,

I've gone to Dr. Sheridan since I was a teen and have had a wonderful experience. However, since he retired not so much. My husband and I are trying to conceive. I work 9-4:30 which makes getting in there really hard. I went out of my way to make it in at 8:05 this morning for blood work. I walked in late this morning because I sat waiting for someone to draw my blood. but they never came.
I wasn't given any options to get it done. Now I have to halt my efforts to get pregnant so I can find an obgyn that I trust. When you say labs open at 8, that should mean exactly that. Save yourself the disappointment and go to a doctors office that values you and your time.

I had an appointment with Dr. Vaglio. She was not very nice to me. I don't know if she was having a bad day or what. Her bedside manner was terrible, she spoke to me in an irritable manner, and she was rough in her examination of me. She didn't know much about bioidentical hormones. She was supposed to send me a prescription for the bioidentical patch. I never received it. I will not return here. I found another doctor who is well informed about HRT and is kind.

The ObGyn I went to was sent packing and is now working out of town thank god as he was horrific but when I complained of terrible handling by this guy I was discharged from the office! The office manger is a genuine misogynistic creep. And looking from current reviews they aren't doing any better by the crazy doctors they hire. OMG AVOID!

I would not recommend this practice. I met with Dr. Vaglio once and she was very nice but everything else was disappointing. I made an appt in December for January. When I get to the appointment, I was told it wasn't "scheduled" properly and there wasn't enough time for the exam that was requested, so I was rescheduled for the next day. So I had to take off work again and drive another 30 mins out and back.
Super inconvenient but I was told I would be in and out. When I get to the rescheduled appointment, I waited (no lie) for 45 mins. Finally I asked the receptionist if my appointment was the right time or if I had made a mistake. I was told that the tech was running behind, which would have been nice for someone to tell me without my having to ask.
I was also told that I could schedule the surgery I knew I needed after the exam, but when I was done that scheduler had left for the day. I called Monday and she was out on jury duty, they didn't know when she would be back, and apparently no one else could schedule it either. A few days later I called and spoke to the office manager. She was able to get the surgery scheduled. Ultimately, I decided to cancel the surgery due to the lack of confidence in this practice.
I asked for an email confirmation of the cancellation, which I got but just now received a phone call asking for payment prior to the surgery. So it doesn't look like they communicated that between departments, which confirms my lack of trust in them as a whole.

I've been going to this practice for over 5 years now and am pregnant with my second child. Dr. Proffer is phenomenal and eases all of my concerns with honesty and care. Her nurse Hannah is amazing and always friendly. I love the front staff, all the nurse, doctors and techs that draw blood. Those ladies are about the best I've ever had draw my blood. Dr. Martin delivered my first baby and she put me at ease. I love this practice and couldn't imagine ever switching.

I will never go back. The entire experience was sickening. Between the doctor referring to me as a colored person, not listening to my concerns, and being presumptuous about me having diabetes, merely based on weight and race, the entire experience was mortifying. I would not recommend my worst enemy to come here.

I have never written a review before, but I felt it was necessary in this case because I was so disappointed with their office. I was a patient of Dr. Sheridan. Since he retired, all three of my visits to the office were only offered to be with the nurse practitioners. Unfortunately, I had an emergency issue that came up, and the NPs were unable to handle it after two of the visits.
They said no doctor was available to consult or examine me each time. I ended up going to the ER, having an emergency procedure, and spending four days at the hospital because I was so sick with an infection. I was told to follow up with them within a week of my discharge. They were unable to get me in with a doctor again for approximately thirty days due to scheduling issues. They told me to self-monitor. I got sick again and had to treat at the ER. I wish that I would have established care elsewhere after Dr. Sheridan left.

I scheduled an appointment over the phone. I was able to get in within that week. Upon arriving I was informed I couldn't take my child in my appointment with me. When I scheduled my appointment no employee informed me I wasn't able to bring my child. I had to take off early for work and make a 20 min commute to be turned away. When I asked to speak with a manager or someone in charge the Receptionist stated no one was available to speak with.
The Receptionist made a comment there all signs all over the build as if I was supposed to know there were signs before I arrived. She also stated the notice was included in registration with has issues when filling out the questionnaire.

I wish I could do 2 different reviews. DR. Proffer is absolutely amazing! She will tell you like it is and not sugar coat things and I LOVE that! She delivered my daughter at 27 weeks. And when we found out I was already dilated at 9cm when I came in Dr. Proffer immediately started reassuring me that there's nothing I did wrong. That girls are fighters.
She gave me the confidence needed in that moment. Can't speak enough about her! Now for my zero star review: I went into the clinic to see about some pain, and they set me up with some who was available sooner. Do not see Jen Peppard. I left with new information that my heart has an irregular beat and my thyroid felt enlarged. So now I'm kinda freaking out and went to get a physical per Jen's recommendation. Took me a while to find somebody quickly but I finally get checked out and there's nothing wrong.
I did an EKG and my thyroid checked on and absolutely nothing was wrong. And what's even more interesting is a friend of mine said that she was told the same thing a few months ago and nothing was wrong. I'm not sure why she's telling people false information? Just likes to make people worry? Go see Dr Proffer, but stay clear from Jen Peppard.

Dr. Proffer is absolutely AMAZING! I gave birth on Saturday & she is just the sweetest doctor! All of my appointments with her and the other Doctors were great! She took away the constant fear during my pregnancy, and being a new mom! She is very thorough & takes her time to answer any concerns or questions. I highly recommend Dr. Proffer or any of the doctors from this office! Thank you for making my pregnancy & delivery a breeze!

I had this appointment from two weeks ago. Because I had traveled out of state they refused to see me. I went in to be see and they lied about where Maria was at. They said she was over at the hospital. Pretty much making every excuse they had to not see me. Then they had someone else come out and even though I told them I know there's something wrong with me, the still refused to see me.

DO NOT go to Dr. Brown if you are pregnant. She has been the most uncaring, rush you thru your appointment Dr. I have ever been exposed to. My daughter walks out of there in tears when she has appointments with her. She loves Dr. Martin, as she listens and is so caring. Dr. Brown doesn't care about what the patient is going thru, every response from her is either "Its fine" or "It's normal". Very disappointed with her

It's never a fun process of finding a new gynecologist, but this place was close to where I live and had decent reviews listed from other resources. As I walked in to get checked-in, the individual at the front desk was quick to greet me and help me through the process. We made small chit-chat while she also explained my next steps with an ipad.
I had completed most of my new patient paperwork online before my appointment which I highly recommend. Carol, the head nurse, called my name and immediately introduced herself with a bright smile and full of energy. I don't doubt that she is an energetic and positive individual, but on this particular day, she had two large coffees that morning which was more than her usual.
I would guess the sugar and caffeine had increased her speed of talking, but it was entertaining and, by no means, a negative view of her. My encounter was enjoyable with her. Once my Dr arrived, Meghan Vaglio, she was immediately welcoming and down to earth. We had great conversations which were both helpful and genuine. She was very open-minded and understanding while also being very supportive of the LGBT community. She was excited when I mentioned that my wife and I would be having kids in the near future. It was a great visit and I look forward to continuing to build our relationship.

The other two reviews weren't lying. ALWAYS waiting. 45 minutes plus after an appointment time and I'm still waiting. Every single time. The office staff is so so rude. There is a lady with a gap in between her teeth and she's short with black curly hair and glasses, she never has a positive attitude. These appointments are supposed to be fun and exciting, IM HAVING A BABY, but no.
The office staff makes it terrible. OP Regional has wonderful staff and for my next baby that's where I will be going. If I weren't 37 weeks pregnant I would switch now- I should've switched before but I thought things might change and it was just one bad day.

We started seeing Dr. Cooper in October of 2016 for our pregnancy and she has been absolutely phenomenal. I had some issues with this pregnancy(second) and some concerns about the pregnancy and she has answered all the questions and concerns my husband and I have had. She even squeezed us in when I had to call her because I was bleeding. My last OB/GYN was not as great as this one. I would definitely recommend her to anyone that's having a baby.

Usually I don't complain, but I can't stand the secretaries here. They're beyond rude without reason. I always come in with a smile on my face, very polite and I get treated so rude. They're customer service skills are terrible. Especially the Asian lady with glasses, and this other woman with brown hair. So disgusted with they're service.

Dr. Martin has been my OB/GYN since my first doctor retired several years ago. She has not steered me wrong and has been terrific ever since I started seeing her. My problems have not been easy and Dr. Martin has an excellent bedside manner, she is comforting, and offered treatments that have helped immensely. Appointments are easy to get, and the staff will work with you if feel you need to be seen sooner than later.
