Brace yourselfs for the most inefficient outfit of South Florida. Total time for a colonoscopy was about 8 hours.7 waiting without a sip of water or nutrients. Talk about total disregard for patients time or wellbeing. Incredible. If you can don't fall for this and request an alternate from your physician.

Worst gastroenterologist office i have ever been to. waited 3 hours to not even be able to see the doctor, very unprofessional staff and they have zero regards for your time.

Staff is attentive and respectful of your appointment time. Doctors and medical staff are professionals and treat you kind. Would recommend to friends.

Excellent service, first-rate treatment both professionally and personally, I was very pleased with everyone in general and especially with the anesthetist Bob Tender and the gastroenterologist Jorge Castaneda, thank you!

Waited for 1 hours to see Dr Martinez. Everybody left for lunch, ate and then came back. i decided to get my money back and all papers and left. It is incredible how badly patients are treated. No information, nothing.no respect of your time. but if you are late they charge you and do not give you money back or nothing. I reported this to Aetna PPO to let them know.

WORST PLACE EVER! DO NOT COME EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL STAFF. Dr. Gonzalez is my doctor but unfortunately the staff that he has chosen is the worst from the worst. They constantly call the day before to come early that they had many cancellations, it was all lies. I'm the last patient of the day. My appointment was for 1:30 pm. The ladies at the front desk don't even know there names and constantly talking about there private life's while patients are waiting.

Dr. Garrido is amazing, but the staff in the office is extremely disorganized, unprofessional and doesn't run on time. Before my appointment I confirmed how much I would have to pay at the appt. 30mins after arriving to the appt they decide to tell me that what I owe is double the amount, an amount I didn't have at the moment. Long story short the office did not want to let me see the dr for my appt until the full amount was paid. Granted 2hrs after my appt time and I'm still waiting for them to correct this issue so that the doctor can see me and give me the results of a procedure I had done.

Oh and I can't forget about the parking situation. The parking lot for the building where the doctors office is charges $2 to park. I would gladly pay it but they only accept cash which I didn't have on me at the moment. Long story short the man refused to let me park there. I had to park 2 block down on the street and walk in the rain to my appt.

I have had a terrible experience with Digestive Medicine Associates and would not recommend to anyone. I chose to see Dr. Jeff Gonzalez due to his impressive credentials but was only able to meet with a physician assistant. They scheduled me for an endoscopy but after waiting over an hour in the lobby, I decided to look for a more professional practice. Their staff has poor customer service and could only tell me to be patient or to reschedule.
