This Ins Company has doctors in their plan but you can only see them if a 3rd party Company says you can. I was never told this signing on to this Ins Co. it's a racquet! Sneaky Sneaky!

Terrible about referrals and test orders. My doctor requested tests on December 10, and they got the approval February 16. We are seeking another provider. Also, the OTC was a nightmare and they never filled the order.

Horrible transportation service. OTC should be.online. I dont have time to call during the day and no fax machine access to submit orders. Because of the rules I have missed months of OTC items. This company does not roll over the OTC funds.

My 91 father was released from the hospital with a recurrent bout of pneumonia and on oxygen. He needed a concentrator to get to the doctor's office for follow ups. This was not given to him on the way home from the hospital. We had to jump through hoops for six days and counting now in order to get one from One Home Solutions, which is the vendor for CarePlus.

Everything goes through them and it's completely abysmal. In the meantime, my father got a severe ear infection and they didn't even care to try to expedite it for us in order for me to get him to the ENT. Have you ever tried pushing a wheelchair and drag an oxygen tank at the same time? Terrible. I am afraid of him backsliding with the pneumonia and needed his follow up appointments to occur the first week after his discharge from the hospital.

You hear nothing but excuses from one home solutions. In addition, they drag their tail getting the approval for the ENT, allowing his ear infection to get worse. Their home care one at home Broward and one at home Palm Beach are also equally as abysmal. The nursing care is nonexistent and they basically just check the boxes in order to get the maximum payment out of CarePlus and Medicare.

I am the legal representative of a 75 year old patient, disabled and in very poor health. I recently requested a referral for Medtronic to send me a MYCARELINK SMART digital device and someone thought it was not necessary. The patient had appoiment for August but due to her deteriorating state of health and due to the pandemic she has not been able to go.

You have not had your device check up for 3 months. Now they tell me that I must wait 30 more days because it is not urgent. Careplus is irresponsible with its patients, unsafe, and I hold them responsible if something happens to my family member. So I will let MEDICARE know to alert them about the unprofessionalism of this insurance.

Critical: Professionalism, Responsiveness My friend is 71 and lives in Rural Marion County. Care Plus claims they will provide him free transportation for medical appointments but they keep standing him up. He needs covid vaccine but they won't transport him!

I have just joined and am totally in awe at the difference from my previous plan. These people have customer care representatives that are really pretty terrific people who are very well trained and know how to satisfy you. I had a special need and the lady dealt with it in a matter of minutes compared to being transferred to "someone else" all around the world. I have really become very quickly very satisfied and am very happy to be part of Careplus.

I work for a medical office and called trying to get authorization for physical therapy. After being on hold for 30 minutes someone answers. I explain that I work for Dr. Smith and am trying to get physical therapy authorization for a mutual patient. The representative asked me if it was capitated or not. I told her that I am not sure what capitated means.

Then she hangs up the phone. How do people get away from this. I asked others in the office if they have had similar experiences. They all said that everyone that they talk to acts like they hate their job and don't want to talk to you. If possible I would avoid this company for your health insurance needs.

Absolutely the worst health care plan in South Florida. The staff is absolutely incompetent and the red tape for authorizations is endless. The objective seems to be that they stall until the patient and doctor just give up. The hold time when calling has gotten increasingly longer and today my doctor's office advised that they just didn't have time to wait on the phone for CarePlus to finally answer.

Much of the provider information is not available on their website and when you call and request the information, they are unable to even provide a reliable list of qualifying offices in my area.
