Is the worst Emergency Room service ever. I took my Mom with a pain that she couldn't sleep last night and I've been more than 5 hours waiting with pain and they pass everybody else first and excuses not acceptable. They keep saying we're waiting for bed. How do they know we need a bed without any labs, x-ray or diagnosis. How they know we don't need any surgery or send to someplace else because they're not capable? A lot of people even older people left to another hospital because of waiting.

Took my mom here me after a stroke, this hospital is horrible, stay away if you can. The doctors are in a rush and don't explain what is happening well. While waiting in the ER there was a guy who left as they were not treating his injury I believe he was bleeding. There was another that a lady came in a car and no one from the staff came to help with a wheel chair even through the woman was in agony.

I would not have brought my mom here but this is where the ambulance took her. Once is she discharged I will take her to baptist. Oh and they said they had found clots in her brain but they appear that they are going to discharge her and haven't even told us if the clots have disappeared. STAY AWAY FROM HERE!

My elderly mother fell at home and broke her pelvis. We were not allowed to stay overnight and the nurse aid treated her horribly. When she was discharged, they did not contact us, no-one came to do an assessment, we called social services, to no avail. They did not place an order for medical equipment, they would not provide an email to contact anyone administration despite my many requests.

I called and left messages for administration, to no avail. It is disappointing, sad, and frustrating. How can you run a hospital without allowing the community to provide feedback? How could you have so little disregard and disrespect for the people that need your services and are most vulnerable?

My grandfather got rushed to the emergency room this morning. We went this afternoon to try and figure out what was going on. I was expecting a lot of push back but it ended up being a great experience. The security guard Jose Montge was so polite. He was very helpful and concerned. He really got us all the information and we were able to see him. The nurse was also very polite and gave us a lot of information. The facility itself was very clean and nice. I always liked this hospital.

I went into the emergency room at 8am on Thursday for what turned out to be acute appendicitis. The ER was crazy as you'd expect it to be. Dr. Houston was very attentive and was very clear with me about my case. I finally got moved upstairs to the 4th floor around 4pm and eventually had surgery around 7pm. Nurse Rose was the absolute best! She was very thoughtful and extremely attentive every step of the way and went the extra mile to make sure I was comfortable and on the up and up. 5 stars because of nurse Rose. God bless her.

I am reading all of this HORRENDOUS reviews about this place especially about the staff. Being dismissive to patients' who clearly need medical. Making fun of the patients and loved ones. Making a patient cry. Patients dying due to lack of care, laziness and incompetence. My aunt used to be a head nurse, and a special friend worked as a nurse. They wouldn't go for that BS.

If a nurse was caught mistreating a patient, my aunt wouldn't give her second chance to do it again. That nurse would be fired without question. Here's a word of advice to the staff if don't want be bothered by people, get a job that's not in the medical field.

The worst hospital in south florida. The calibers of professionals that work at the 4 floor it is like from the third world country. My father was in bed since the previous day who was admited with his own clothes all wet in bed. Not one took care of him and we asked one nurse assistance for help she said only the patient next to him was her Duties. Really horrible and inhuman. No even dogs are treated like that. Hospital should be close if they don't have the proper trained and qualified people.

Insensitive to patients love ones to limit one person at a time when your potentially are saying goodbye to a loved one. Also to make matters worse the CCU waiting room is closed so you have to wait outside or with the massive amount of people in the main waiting room. When asked why is the waiting room closed the reason given is Covid-19. Please get informed, I hope Steward Health does an overhaul of their policies.

This hospital deserves 0 stars. My cousin passed away here in 2019. Tonight I brought my 2 year old son due to an alarming high fever & difficulty breathing. Arrived around 10:50 pm.1:18 am was told someone put in the system that I left even though we were sitting on a bed & the baby next to us was being attended. I had to give my son ibuprofen from his own bag because his fever was way too high, his cheeks & ears were red as well.

I stood at the door of the room only to be rudely questioned by nurse Minnie Joseph. She said my son was fine because she was looking at him. What type of medical examination is that? Meanwhile my son was slumped over me with teary eyes. She continued arguing with me. She crossed several boundaries, very disrespectful. Her exact words were "I don't care.go ahead report me".

She shrugged her shoulders & continued to make nasty insensitive remarks. She is a disgusting human being & should not be a healthcare worker. How can someone like this treat sick patients? All for the paycheck. The mother next to us called 911 before they attended her 2 month old daughter & left to another hospital from the disappointment. Go elsewhere please.

I personally feel they discriminate against people who are of Latin American/Caribbean descent who are black. They refused to set up patient transportation and gave me the run-around when I expressed it's painful to walk with a hernia that I got during my pregnancy. I was told it's not an emergency + to schedule general surgery. I had to wait in the rain for three hours waiting on a response on when I would get transportation.

And nervous I wouldn't be able to pick up my baby from childcare. I fainted in front of her childcare at 5:47AM. The daycare wasn't open until 6AM. They are lazy and don't want to cater to their patients. And the physicians became annoyed when I didn't want her to feel my belly for the hernia because the pain was so bad. Kira Giron + another associate at the front was laughing when I said it has something to do with my race why they made me wait very long to get transportation.

She was heavy set, had dirty blonde hair, small hoop earrings, and pink nails(reference to the photo below). And of course had a snobby attitude like they were better than women of African descent. Kira is black, but she appears to be of Latin descent which accommodates African, Spaniard, French, middle eastern + Native American roots.
