The DCLS program has been very disappointing. Senior level students having to repeat classes & curriculum multiple times in order to meet research needs of this facility versus receiving the education/guidance to complete required courses they are seeking by in enrolling in said program to obtain PhD.

Make sure you validate your ticket. It would have been nice to know what was wrong with my leg. No one could tell me that. My primary care doctor helped me a lot. I got a shot to help with the pain and he gave me a muscle relaxer which really helped my leg stretch out more so I was finally able to wear shoes again. He even referred me to Ortho and Ortho was able to fit me in their schedule the next day. Ortho was useless though.

The overall energy was very socialable, moreso amongst themselves than with us the actual patients. Overall, it was like I was at a. You'll never guess it. a university. Lol. I would recommend this place. They seem very efficient. They try their best to get you out with quality care so you can get your medicine and go back to work.

I understand the frustration with this facility. I've NEVER a had this many problems with a place before. Trying to get someone on the phone and questions answered is like pulling teeth. They transfer you around till you just give up and hang up. And the people here are so disrespectful, they will not even let you finish your sentence they just talk over you and transfer you, just to get you off the phone.

I was transferred to a facility that wasn't even near me? So I had to call back and wait another 30 minutes to get someone on the phone. Please and thank you, even a smile goes along way. I've been in the healthcare field along time, and it's really sad to see how they treat people. I do not recommend this place at all, there are plenty of places to go where you will be taken care of where they actually care. And this review is not based on just one encounter this is years of dealing with this facility.

Very rude and unhelpful police staff. I believe its "serve and protect". not "judge and berate"

So going to the emergency room with COVID-19 and and with pre-existing conditions and 2 heriniated disc and can't sit upright because of weight issues only to be told if you want to go home by the nurses and the emt makes a person want to go back home thats what happened last nite in my opinion they need better people there that actually care about their patients but thats not the case I hope my friend dosen't die because of COVID-19 and UTMBs lack of compassion i don't recommend them even if you get hit by a car outside of the hospital

My boyfriend went to go get a Covid test here but this is the third day+ that he still hasn't gotten his test results or a called back as well it turned out they also had the wrong number and email on his chart. Well when he called them this morning they had the results in finally but they wouldn't tell him the results instead they told him it would still take a other 48 to 70 something hours (business hours) even tho they are only open for eight hours to just call him to tell him the results even though he was already on the phone and she had already told him that they had the results.

I took my daughter there for pain in the toe which turned out to be a fracture. Ms. Peterson and nurse Alma were really nice and professional. I'm in LC but if I had to see a doctor, I would go here.

This is a fabulous Urgent Care. Open 10:00an-10:00pm. Very nice spacious waiting area. I have never waited more than 15-20 min when called back. Total Time spent is usually an hour and I go in the evenings when I need to be seen. The staff are very kind and professional. This is my favorite urgent care when I need to be seen urgently.

I am so happy to have found this urgent care thanks to my daughter, ER Nurse in North Cypress. I was feeling worse than ever and had been treated by my primary care Dr. 8 days prior to going here and was getting worse. When we arrived we were greeted by a very pleasant receptionist who was so kind and compassionate! They took me back almost immediately.

Every single person I encountered was kind and friendly. I was put on an IV with some medication, they watched my vitals, prescribed me another antibiotic and then released me already feeling a bit better. I am happy and grateful to say that now, 2 days later I am feeling much better and on my way back to 100%! I want to say thank you and we are switching over to primary care here!

Worst place. this is the 2nd time this is happening. Brought my toddler in since it was nearby hospital/ clinic to me. My daughter needed to be seen urgently/ immediately. if I tell you a baby has something stuck up her nose and you can see she is distraught, I would think because you claim to be a hospital and she is a UTMB patient they would be more concerned with the baby health but nooooo. They were more concerned we did not have an appointment and that they are an urgent care not an emergency room. Ended been seen Mainland Hospital. Never again

UTMB in Texas City, TX. bills as a hospital not as a Physician office or PCP. Please review your insurance prior to any service. We got a lab bill over $200 because it was billed as a hospital. My insurance covers labs at 100% if part of doctor visit which is what this was. Tried to resolve with patient advocate and billing company, and both were no help.
