Our aim has always been to supply our patients with the highest possible eye care at the greatest possible convenience. Our eye clinics, which incorporate Independent Doctors of Optometry in associated with Lenscrafters, are locate d in the Battlefield Mall in Springfield Missouri and Northpark Mall in Joplin Missouri.

It would have been an overall great experience except my son and I were forced to get AND PAY FOR a procedure I did NOT want. I don't normally have this procedure done and I was NOT informed of it until I arrived and the problem with cancelling the appointment is that I'd already driven 45 min and it was the only time we could get it done so I felt forced to keep it and was forced to PAY for and get a procedure I did not want and wasn't told in advance because if I had I would have cancelled it.

Springfield Eye Care was amazing at squeezing me in short notice! I was in the area for a weekend trip involving my sons Make-A-Wish and happened to scratch my eye. Not only did she squeeze me in once, but she also squeezed me in the day after to check on the progress of my eye healing. She was VERY patient with me and gentle while diagnosing the problem. I highly recommend!

I appreciate how the doctor took the time to explain my eye test results and to also make sure my eye glass prescription was correct. I have several eye issues that previous eye doctors have never been able to clearly explain to me. He not only explained them to me, but also showed me the eye scans. Thank you!

The staff was nice, the doctor did a thorough job with the exam. He Mentioned some issues no one before ever bothered to before and followed through with getting my prior images to make sure the one issue was not possibly cancer and so he could watch it. I was very impressed! And would highly recommend Dr Pilkington!

Dr Pilkington was very efficient and good at explaining everything. Lori was wonderful and patient with me trying on different frames and making suggestions for my face shape. She pulled out 2 frames on sale and they were absolutely perfect, she is awesome! Love the employees here and will be recommending to more people I know.
