Dealing with so many illnesses over 20+ years until I could not walk well, no stairs, falling and couldn't get out of chairs on my own, memory issues. on and on. Had tests run by neurologist came up with positive Lyme and RMSF. Got records from 23 years ago with a missed positive Lyme and no treatment. Referred to Dr Crist who absolutely saved my life.
He treats Lyme, RMSF and the related problems. His visits are complex and he's insightful, although you leave wishing he wasn't right. Years of misc treatment, antibiotic therapy mostly, and a variety of other treatments have made a huge difference! Every person he treats is different, your body reacts differently, your at a different stage, can't take certain meds, on and on.
You only live once and often with these chronic illnesses, you really aren't living. Worked in the medical field my whole life fighting with insurance who won't cover or pay, yatta. he's self pay so he doesn't have to fight to take care of his patients. God bless

Not the go to guy if you have Chronic Lyme, in my opinion. 2-3 years of antibiotics is probably not the best way to attack it. Very hard to tolerate all of that, really tears up the gut microbe and quite possibly just makes the bug that much more resistant. Like to have the $500 back and the day of my life traveling all that way and back. For acute Lyme, he probably has the solution, not so much for the Chronic cases in my opinion. Dr. TJ Williams in Saint Louis is next up, going the homeopathic way now.

Dr Crist is being used by the Lord to save my life. After 9 other specialist and 18 months of extreme illness, he was able to diagnose & treat me for tickborn illness. He is the most thorough doctor I've ever met and listened to everything I had to say. His staff are kind and his office is extremely efficient. They have this down to a science and waste none of your time or resources. May God bless Dr Crist, his family & staff!

Dr. Charles Crist is truly the best doctor I have ever met. I am so thankful to God that I found him. I did a google search for the "best Lyme doctor in the United States" and his name came up. I went all the way from New Jersey to Missouri to see him. It was well worth the drive because I finally got diagnosed with Lyme Disease and got help. He has treated over 10,000 Lyme Disease patients; I now know why he is one of the best Lyme doctors.
He is now training other doctors in the protocol of treating Lyme. He spends about one hour and a half with each patient on their initial visit. How many doctors would do that? The office staff is friendly and have "walked the extra mile" for things that I have needed. It is worth the trip and the 6-7 month wait to see this doctor. He is truly God's gift to a broken and hurting world.
