Checked in at 2:30 for a 3:00 appointment, didn't get called back until 3:15. Four other people that got checked in after us got called back before us. Equipment does not work with wheelchair, not ADA compliant if you ask me.

Definitely dont use this place if you value your time, they will cancel your appointment that was made months ago and reschedule you for months out and they keep doing it.

Setup an appointment for 2 months in advance to have them call me and try to reschedule for another 2-3 months in the future OR drive to thier yelm building.

I wish it could have been different, the place looks nice, but overall the attention was lacking, I didn't find a doctor that actually heard the symptoms I have had for months, didn't prescribed anything to make it better, I got my prescription for glasses, ordered them at the clinic, and got the wrong prescription, have to wait for another 2 weeks. Non of this was free, they charged every penny to my insurance, this is just another healthcare market place, I hope to never get back here, it has been a waste of time, money, gas, efforts. everything was just wrong and bad.

We were able to book our annual eye exam and their schedule was only out about a month. Wait not too long. Various tests, procedures didn't take too terribly long. At this point it looks like Medicare, Medicare supplement, and our vision insurance have covered most of the charges.

Clarus Eye Centre is professional and efficient, from the person who screens you at the door to the tech and Dr. Aaker. I was impressed how Dr. Aaker explains eye health in understandable words. I'll be returning to their establishment because I felt their expertise was very good and I know that I get the best eye care there.

Clarus Eye Centre provides excellent eye care. As a person with complicated eye problems, I have spent a lot of time there and will continue to do so throughout my life. Their intake process is welcoming and efficient, and patients are looked after by a person who "works the floor." She is in charge of making sure no one falls through the cracks as someone might as they have a high volume of patients coming through.

I had to wait a bit longer than usual the last time I was there, and she approached me and then followed up with other staff to find out when I would be seen. This is a nice touch especially since a lot of folks who come here are older and may have impairments that might make it difficult for them to completely keep track of themselves. Clarus technicians are friendly and professional and Clarus eye physicians are top notch. I highly recommend Dr. Steven Reck. He performed my eye surgeries and has been my eye physician ever since. I highly recommend Clarus Eye Centre.

The staff was wonderful and great at explaining everything they were doing. They were running about 45 minutes behind. I think there needs to be more warning about how bad the eye dilation experience is. I couldn't see a thing, was dizzy and my eyes are still not ok 2 days later. They didn't tell me not to drive so I did not bring anyone to do so but I wish I had, my eyes were terrible. I won't be going back, eyes were better before my visit than now.

Time to change provider. they do not treat patients with respect. more than 20 minute wait time before talking to anyone. Reported this issues to Dr, nothing changed

Not especially friendly even after several years. My treatment was more like tunnel vision, ignoring the obvious like blood pressure, sinuses, and headaches. Needle in the eye need not be the only option.

The first time I experienced the clarus eye center, I had just had cataract surgery at another facility. Just before the cataract surgery I noticed spots in front of the cataract eye which reminded me of looking through a screen door. I did not tell that Doctor because I assumed he would see whatever was wrong by the Examination for the cataract surgery.

A few days later I was still seeing the spots im front of my eye so I decided to call the doctor and he was out that day. They did have an emergency doctor so I called and spoke to a physician at Claraus and was told to come in as soon as I could because this was Friday and it could get worse over the weekend. So I did and when I got to the clinic I learned I had a very badly torn retina.

I had to have emergency surgery by a very caring lady but I don't remember her name. She was very good. She couldn't complete the surgery so she told me to be sure I rested when I got home. I was able to drive. I had to go back the next day to complete the surgery. And it worked out just fine and I've been seeing fine ever since. I have followed up with the Clara's people.

I now learned I have glaucoma in both eyes. diagnosed there. The doctor told me I could have a surgery which would keep it at bay and I wouldn't have to have drops every day. So I did the surgery and Dr Reck was the doctor and he did a wonderful job. Now I have no problems seeing and I'm seeing better than ever and I do not need glasses or contacts at all.

I am really pleased with this facility. I've always been treated very well. Even with missed appointments they were able to reschedule me timely. I have recommended this Clinic to other people and I would do so again. It is clean it is Pleasant there are so many nice people there. Every person I've encountered with every part of my treatment have been wonderful. Thank you Clarus! It is a pleasure to come see you. I didn't notice any homeless people around and I do have 20/20 vision.

To begin and preface this with the entire experience there requires context. I scheduled an appointment early 2021, fully aware of the pandemic and wait times and processes. Well shortly before my appointment they call me and state the doctor who I was assigned to see left the business/practice. The result was a months long delay to get an eye exam for both contacts and glasses prescription.

With this in mind I planned for the next visit, as the next visit eventually approached. I arrive and get my fitting for contacts and process completed for attaining my prescription. However they then did not have the, I'm assuming singular person, to teach me how to put contact lenses in on duty at the day of my appointment. Naturally, I then have to make another appointment to attend this training.

Upon arrival and checking in a staff member comes to let me know the individual training me is out at lunch and they have no idea when she will be back, for an appointment scheduled two weeks ago at 1330, they came to let me know the staff member was MIA as of 1316. While I did show up early, this has been the most insufferable, and long drawn out process to receive simple routine, if not common eye care. Henceforth I will never be coming here for my routine eye care.

Clarus Eye Center is unable to keep appointments. Showed up and signed in prior to my appt time. Sat in the waiting area for over 30 minutes past my appt time as other that checked in after me were seen. I went to the counter and canceled my appt. No apology for the delay.

I finally got referred to Dr. Rudd for cataract surgery last winter, and I can't rave enough about the entire staff who treated me for my initial consultation and two surgeries. They were kind, efficient, and knowledgeable. The tech with the lovely Hawaiian name I can't recall even let me look at photos of my cataracts when she finished running all the instrumentation measurements. Dr. Rudd did a perfect job giving me the monovision correction I requested, and I don't need correction for either near or distance. Since having my surgery, I've met two other patients of his who had cataract surgery, and both were also extremely pleased.

Scheduled an appointment for an eye exam and planned to get glasses. Neither their website, nor when I checked in, did they ever mention that they accepted my insurance only for the exam. Their eyeglasses section is a different business under the Claurus name in the building. So, after driving 40 miles one way to do this, I now have to get my glasses somewhere else. I won't be returning.

Docs r great but they r such a big office they seem to over book just my opinion. Have waited half hr after my appt time to get seen and that's after checking in 15 min early. I did appreciate the contact receptionist she informed me about my insurance does cover contacts too not just glasses. No out of pocket pay. The was awesome

My optometrist sent me to Clarus for investigation and management of my eye issues. I had high expectations going to a medical doctor, but the "comprehensive" exam showed the least detail of any eye exam I've ever had. You would think there was nothing wrong with my eyes looking at my Clarus treatment notes, except the beginnings of cataracts were noted by this doctor who also performs cataract surgeries. I'm not sure the doctor did more than glance at my records, but that shouldn't matter with a fair exam and taking a history and actually talking to me instead of blazing through the "comprehensive" exam.

I had to bite my lip and hold back tears when the check-out person from my initial visit asked me about my experience and went on and on about how wonderful this doctor is at explaining and spends time with patients. On later visits, I had symptoms on my other eye (with extensive documentation on my prior medical records of abnormal findings) and I complained about those symptoms to the tech, but that was dismissed with what felt like a 2-second look by the doctor who showed no care about investigating the source of my pain.

If there had been any attention paid to my history or symptoms, this might have merited a second look and saved me grief down the road. Since I was on Medicaid, I have to wonder if I received a diminished level of care since I just can't believe my doctor would be so unskilled/disinterested. * Note my visits were shortly pre-pandemic and I'm sure by now the whole experience of check-in to check-out has changed and the wait times are different. I'll just comment that one annoying thing was I was left to dilate in the exam room with the door left wide open and people walking by all the time. I should've just shut the door rather than worry I'm doing something wrong.

I really appreciate Dr. Asker seeing me on a Sunday. His care has been terrific this eeek. I would certainly recommend Clarus.

I was over the top anxious about the vitrectomy. Turned out a piece of cake. No pain from beginning to end. Everyone was professional, put me at ease. Really appreciate all the staff there.

I liked the doctors I saw at Clarus Eye. They really stepped up for me and I wished other medical providers were as thorough and followed through the way Dr Myung did for me. I had a bit of a scary episode with my vision and they made sure my PCP and other specialists had all the observations that They noticed so everyone was on the same page. Dr. Clark, Dr. Aker aardvark Dr. Myung all really demonstrated great care and really earned my trust Ann's high regard. The office is nice, quick checkin and friendly staff. Thank you!

I went in for injections in my eyes. I was nervous about having needles placed there. So many questions and concerns! The staff that worked with me explained the whole process with me till I was as comfortable as I could be. They were right in that there wasn't any pain, just a little pressure. My next appointment will be my left eye. I can't say that I'm looking forward to it, but I'm not concerned about what it will be like.

This is a wonderful friendly place. They have a cheerful person always stationed at the door to help and direct you. Front staff is fast, friendly and efficient. The eye doctors and staff are wonderful each time I go. This is an extremely pleasant, and attractive place that is well run. The optical store is in it but operates as a separate business. I have lived in several cities and this is the best I have seen ever for eye centers.

I dont think my doctor has ever been on-time. If he's running 30-40min late then staff should call patients and have come later instead of sitting around the waiting area for over an hour. Its ridiculous.

I have been attending Clarus eye center for over 20 years. In addition, I brought my mom there for many years as well. Dr. Rudd is excellent extremely good with his cataract surgeries and his bedside manner especially with older people very kind and respectful. Similarly Dr. Wagner is very good as well. He is very respectful, kind, & good at his job.

The entire staff is very good as well. You usually have to wait a while beyond your appointment so prepare for that but that's because they don't rush you and they do a good job with each patient. I would highly recommend anybody there as the best in this whole county area.

Gr8 service. I called in inquiring for a walk-in. They accepted me and even had one of the techs greet/meet me at the lobby. Realistic wait time, and was able to see the eye doctor pronto. Thinking of switching here from my other eye doctor.

My wife has been going to Clarus for years and raves about the care and the doctors. I had my first appointment there yesterday and agree. From the receptionist, the assistants, to the doctors I was very impressed. What a great staff. Dr. Waggoner is great. He actually treats you like a real person! Thank you.

My son was in a car accident over Memorial Day weekend and had major damage to his eye. He was treated at Harborview that weekend and told to follow up with our own eye doctor on Tuesday. Well he had never had any vision problems prior to this so we didn't have an eye doctor. I called Clarus that Tuesday and explained the situation. The office was able to get him in that day to see a doctor.

The care my son has received has been incredible. His eye has required many many visits to Clarus to see many doctors. All of the doctors that he has seen have been kind, caring, and knowledgeable. They foster an office community here where the doctors consult each other and work as a team. It's not unusual for him to see more than one doctor on a visit. The supporting staff from the front door to the back are helpful and kind. I highly recommend Clarus.

I was greeted as I stood in-line making sure I was in the right area. Check-in was quick and easy. At all parts of my appointment I was treated with respect and kindness. I feel comfortable having them preform my eye surgery later this month.

Long waits, given an incorrect prescription that's explained away by everyone you talk to and ultimately has to be changed, staff to talks down to customers- staff claiming personality problems of the customer for claiming the prescription is incorrect (and it wasn't correct, the doctor had to fix it and order new lenses for my glasses). I will not be returning.

If I could give 0 stars I absolutely would! Never have I ever been more frustrated with a staff than I am here. Worst customer service and the most BAFFLING wait times. I don't feel like the physicians and staff are "dedicated to providing exemplary" services because they treat their customers and patients like you know what. DO NOT GO HERE!

DO NOT GO HERE! I went in three times and never received a working prescription. I went in early and they called me in way past my appointment time, then rushed my appointment and gave me an unusable prescription. I spent hundreds of dollars on glasses, only to not be able to use them. Called Clarus to get this fixed and they said I had to pay them money before they would schedule an appointment to fix this.

I only had 14 days to return my glasses with a working prescription. Had to call my insurance company, and my primary care doctor to get a special authorization and go somewhere else! The most annoying attempt at getting my eye prescription updated!

I was met by a representative to ensure that my check-in went smoothly. The technician, who checked my existing prescription and current vision changes, was thorough and friendly. Dr Finley was very helpful in explaining what changes had taken place and what I should be doing to maintain the best vision. The steps were just a few and easy to remember.

They are one of the only health care providers to have no issues negotiating with Veterans Choice. With other providers Veterans Choice has been the source of constant delays and headaches, but that has never been the case with Clarus. Additionally Dr. Aaker has provided expert care as has the rest of the staff. I received proper diagnosis and care on ailments overlooked by other providers. I highly recommend Clarus Eye Center!

The Ophthalmologists whom I have seen at Clarus have been outstanding! I have had a serious eye issue that required two surgeries. A day or two after one of the surgeries my eye became progressively more painful. I called Clarus & spoke with the Dr. who performed the surgery. She told me to come right into the office. I did; she fixed the problem and had me come back in the next day to check it again. Dr. Peck was extremely responsive, efficient and pleasant. Oh, did I mention that was about 10 pm on a Saturday night and the next morning about 10 am, Sunday!

I also see another Dr. on a regular basis (Scholes). He is the most professional doctor and very thorough. The staff has always been very helpful and accommodating. I have been amazed at the communication system that they all use to keep the office flowing/working. I think they're one of the BEST!
