Central Kentucky Radiology is a private practice group offering hospital staffing service and image interpretation for imaging centers and physicians' offices throughout the state of Kentucky. With radiologists specializing in Vascular & Interventional Radiology, Neuroradiology, Nuclear Radiology, Musculoskeletal Radiology and Breast Imaging, CKR delivers the best medical care possible to patients regardless of their location.
Beginning with seven radiologists, Central Kentucky Radiology was founded with the vision of providing the highest quality radiological image interpretation and intervention to the central Kentucky region. CKR continues that vision by providing hospital staffing and imaging services for doctors' offices and freestanding centers throughout the state of Kentucky.
The charge received from the hospital was for the technical aspect of the procedure. The technical aspect of the procedure would be the charge for the facility, equipment and technicians. The bill from Central Kentucky Radiology is for the professional aspect of the procedure. The professional aspect of the procedure is for the doctor (Radiologist) who interprets the image from the scan.
